SILVEY, SILVY, SYLVY, SELBY LIBRARY There are a number of people researching Silveys in Tennessee & Missouri. In the 1809 Tax for Roane Co.TN. there were 2 Silveys. A William Silvey Sr. and a Samuel Silvey Sr. We believe these 2 Silveys were brothers that came from Virginia before 1801 to Tennessee. We have found no proof of this. We also believe these 2 Silveys are the ancestors of the rest of the Silveys in the 1830-1920 census for Roane Co.TN. and also some of the Silveys in the Morgan Co. MO. census. Does anyone have any proof of who William Sr. & Samuel Sr. children were?
