Last rites was held at the residnece and Redeemer Lutheran Church & interment in Union Cemetery.

From Richard F. (Butch) Wallrabenstein's obituary: 79, retired Hartford Police Office, died Friday, October 29, 1974 in the Wausau Hospital of injuries sustained in auto accident near Rhinelander earlier in the month. He was returning with his wife to Woodruff after a visit in Hartford--there was a collision with a semi-trailer truck. Both were seriously injured and he remained so until his death. Richard was raised on a farm near Holy Hill. In October 1930 he married Mildred Wickert at St. John UCC in Hartford. She died November 26, 1957. On January 17, 1959 he married Lillian Scheife. Surviving are a stepson James Kellogg of Santa Barbara, CA, foster daughter, Betty Rae of West Allis, and grandchildren. An addendum to the obituary listed niece Martha(Maurice) Endres, nephews Archie & Oscar Findling. Burial in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
