Church Hong Kong (CCHK) homepage!
Community Church welcomes everyone to our beautiful
sanctuary, the highest indoor worship place in the world, and to our
inspirational 11:00AM Sunday worship. We are an international,
interdenominational and inclusive congregation. Our cosmopolitan
fellowship is about 60% Asian and 40% expatriate. We value this mix
and balance and all the diversity of persons within the fellowship.
We are committed to exploring, developing and living our
faith.
We are innovative and dynamic in our Sunday worship.
We run a 65 to 70 minute liturgy each Sunday, blending traditional
hymnody with contemporary praise singing. We also combine aesthestics
suitable to our unique worship venue with spontaneity and
informality. Our teaching doctrine is mainstream, being evangelical
and progressive. Our pastor, the Rev. Gene Preston, is one of Hong
Kong's best trained preachers and is consistently engaging and
provocative to thinkers.
It's hard to miss us atop the tallest building in
Hong Kong and easy to find us by public transport. We are a five
minute walk from either the Wanchai MTR station or the Star Ferry
Wanchai terminal. Dozens of buses pass by Central Plaza. But once you
enter the building, it's an adventure requiring three sets of
elevators to reach the APEX. There are easy to follow signs
indicating the route. There's also convenient commercial parking
though a bit pricey in the building's basement carpark.
