Edith, one of the twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Cormier, died Saturday morning, after an illness of several months, at the age of ten years.  Edith was a lovable child and had a large number of friends, young and old.  She was a sweet singer and bright student and will be sadly missed in the home, school and community.
The funeral was at the Lady of the Mountains Church Monday morning.  Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
The floral tributes were many and beautiful, silent reminders of her sweet young life.  Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents and three sisters and other relatives to whom she was so dear.

Dear Petine,
I enjoyed your nice letter very much.  We went to the show with Gene and Dick the other night and saw Alice in Wonderland.  Dick was running the picture so that is why we went.  There was a reflection in the  water and it didn't show the people just the relfection and I thought Dick had the picture up-side down.  And I said Oh! Gene, Dick got the picture up-side down.!
We went to school saturday because we had to make up the day we went to the fryburg fair so we only have today to ourselves.
So were glad to see Aunt Madeline and Uncle John but we missed you we hope you can come next time
     With love,
        Edith

Dear Aunt Christine,
Mother says I am getting better.  I stayed in bed yesterday and I am in bed today.  I hope you got home alright .  I am going to stay in bed till I see the doctor again.  So I can get well to go swimming this summer.  The baby just got through with her bath.  She's so sweet I just love her .  I got to have a glass of milk now, and have a rest.
       with love,
      Edith

  Dear Aunt Christine,
We liked the candy very much.  We went to church this morning with Miss Bellevue.  She stayed up hear this week end we went to high mass.  The mud is quite bad we won't be able to get out next weekend.
We had an Easter party Friday at the school house.  We had a play, all said poems and sang Easter Parade.  After that we had a jelly bean hunt.  It was raining here this morning but it has cleared off. We went up to spend the day with the Burnells yesterday we walked it was quite a hike they took us back though.  Thanks again for the candy,
                with love
