| Andrew Matyi - Age 63, of McKeesport, PA. Died in McKeesport Hospital last night at 11:45 as a result of a traffic accident. Born in Czechoslovakia, he resided in McKeesport for 27 years. He was employed as a blacksmith at the National Tube CO., and was a member of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Matyi and a son Eugene Matyi both of Europe, and a daughter with whom he made his home with in McKeesport. McKeesport Daily News - August 24, 1949  |

| J. U. Morgan - February 5, (no year). J. U. Morgan one of the most prominent citizens of Pine Grove dided last night as the result of injuries sustained be falling from a boardwalk near his home. Mr. Morgan had been to call on a friend, W. W. Post, and was returning home when he accidentally stepped off the boardwalk, falling to the ground several feet below, recieving a fractured wrist of the right arm and internal injuries. The fall was such as to render him unconscious and the first thing that he remembered was to find himself at the foot of a small embankment. He was able to reach his home and Dr. T. M. Stone was called and reduced the fractured wrist. Later he became much worse and it was found that he had been injuried internally. Dr. J. D. Schmeid fo this city was summoned to Pine Grove later and after a thorough examination it was found that Mr. Morgan had been badly injuried and that he was in a serious condition. The best medical service was called in but he succumbed to his injuries Thursday night. Mr. Morgan was aged about 48 years and leaves a wife and a large family. He was at one time County Superintendent of Schools, Secretary of the Democratic Executive Committee and a candidate for sheriff on the Democratic ticket in the primary election. | Anthony T. Morris - Prominent Center district, Wetzel County farmer, died at his home in Wileyville, March 10, 1935. He was born in Center district October 25, 1856 and had lived in Wetzel County most of his life. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Morris and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived be his widow, Mary C. Morris, one son, one daughter, and one brother. Funeral services were conducted at the Chusrch of Christ at Wileyville be Rev. Gray. | Mary C. Morris - Age 70, widow of Anthony Morris, passed away at her home at Wileyville, WV on July 2, 1935.  She was born at ALvy, WV, on August 5, 1867 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John --Sees.  She had been a member of the Church of Christ from many years.  Funeral services were conducted at the Church of Christ in Wileyville on July 4 and interment was made in the Morris Cemetery.  Mrs. Morris is survived by three sons, Ben Haught of Pine Grove, WV;  Ora Haught of NE;  and William Morris of Pine Grove;  five daughters, Mrs. John Hall of Pine Grove;  Mrs. M.E. Sands of New Martinsville;  Mrs. R. L. McBee of Wileyville;  Mrs. Cecil Stackpole of Pine Grove;  and Mrs. Osney Postle of Wileyville;  two brothers, C.C. | Mary Pauline Postle - Wellsburg - Pauline Postle, 74, of Wellsburg, died September 25, 1987, in Wheeling Hospital. She was a member of McKinleyville Church of Christ. Surviving are, one son of Pennsylvania, two daughters of Wellsburg, a brother Ben Haught of Charleston, WV, a sister of Pine Grove, WV, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was born January 5, 1913, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary SEES Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband Osney Postle and a son Bradley. Burial at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery. | Osney "Red" Postle - Wellsburg - Osney V. "Red" Postle, 78 of Wellsburg, a retired  construction foreman, died Wednesday, September 23, 1987, in his home of natural causes. He was a Protestant by faith. Surviving are his wife Mary Pauline MORRIS Postle, a son of Pennsylvania, two daughters of Wellsburg, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was born January 18, 1909, in West Virginia, a son of the late John and Emma GILBERT Postlethwait. He was preceded in death by a son Bradley, in 1975. Burial at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery.
