Central Virginia & the 1864 Campaign
Chancellorsville

I was especially excited to visit Chancellorsville, as I have discovered that two of my great-great-grandfathers (who fought with the 48th Virginia Infantry) were wounded there in May, 1863.

"THERE IS JACKSON STANDING
LIKE A
STONE WALL
BEE AT MANASSAS."
This stone marks the location where Stonewall Jackson's wounds were first tended, rather than where he was wounded.
