Felines

Our Felines bring us so much pleasure, they are a joy to have around and give us many happy hours. Some of them are from the Cats Protection and one from Persian Rescue. The Maine Coon although pedigreed is not registered. During September, we introduced another Maine Coon to our household, we have called him Nikki.

OLIVER came from Persian Rescue July 1996 when he was 11 months old, he is a blue colour point with the most beautiful blue eyes. Oliver enjoys a stroll down the fields with the dogs, but his favourite past time is sitting in the kitchen keeping watch over the fridge door. Oh! and cuddling up to me in bed at night.

Oliver had to be given sleep November 2008 to save him from suffering. Happy memories of you sweetheart.

BUSTER the Maine Coon, my pride and joy, he was born on the 14th April 1995. A terrific character who loves to party late at night . He is a great talker who is full of fun and always ready to play. Buster is sociable, elegant, aloof and the principle groomer. He is becoming a little home bird and never ventures far from me.

Our beautiful JAY came from the CP April 1998 when she was 18 months of age after obviously having a bad time in her previous home. Jay likes to have everything on her own terms but is so loving and affectionate, she rarely ventures far from the house and her favourite past time is sun bathing.


Above are our "twins" MAGIC and SATAN, also from the CP. They were born August or September 1996. Their mother is a pedigree exotic who escaped in order to find herself a husband. We label them "the black devils", they are self willed, bombastic, natural born killers - what more can we say! Apart from they can also be very affectionate.

JUKE came from the CP when he was 10 weeks old, he was born summer 1999. Juke is a bundle of fun with a great zest for life and keeps the other cats on their toes. Unfortunately January 2002 saw Juke having a terrible road accident from which he sustained awful injuries causing him to have 3 major operations. After several months convalescing, he returned to his normal activities with no obvious ill effects. Juke is a skilful hunter and we often have mice and birds brought into the house for us.


Here we have NIKKI, he was born on the 14th June 2004 and is a brown/silver tabby. The photo on the left was taken over Christmas 2004, he was totally fascinated with the snow as it fell on the window. Right, growing up and enjoying the catmint summer 2006.

We have a new addition to our household, a beautiful seal point Ragdoll who we have named Ziggy. Photos coming soon.
