Ok... at this point, as a Mother, I am overwhelmed with guilt
thinking that everyone that visits this site will think that all we do is watch
tv! Well..... we do watch a lot of tv but there are just so many great shows.
I am thankful for the quality of programming that I am able to allow Ashley to
watch. Being sick all the time can make it difficult for Ash to do much else.
We are grateful that we know when she watches these shows and others, atleast
she is learning and being entertained in the healthiest possible way. I cannot
count the number of times Barney has made my life that much easier. When Ashley
needs to take medication (which means trying to get a 3 year old to sit still
for atleast 10 minutes while taking a mask) the only thing that keeps her sitting
is Barney or Sesame Street or a Disney Movie, etc.....
Ok.... now that I have relieved myself of some of the guilt, please continue on
your journey through our lives.
