I'm "Grandma" to five, adorable, guinea pigs!

Word has it that only about 1 in 400 guinea pigs are biters. This is the one! She must recognize me as alpha though. She'll bite my daughter but has never bitten me!
That was then, this is now!




Then there is Checkerboard, also known as "the fugitive". The story of how she got her nickname is coming soon.

Pookie is huge! She has a sweet temper and is the mommie of Checkerboard, Cappucino and the Princess Runtski.


This was the runt of the litter! Runt is now almost as big as her mom...


The globe is a tribute to my daughter's friend Annie. Her guinea pig and long-time companion, Gertie, died of old age. She was well-loved.
