King Kamehameha

June 11 is a state holiday in honor of
King Kamehameha the Great

This is one of only two portraits done of King Kamehameha. Click on the portrait to visit Bishop Museum to view other treasures from the Hawaiian Ali'i (royals).



A visit to downtown Honolulu to visit Iolani Palace and the statue of King Kamehameha is a must when you visit!



An excellent replica of the statue of King Kamehameha can be found in the National Statuary Hall in Washington, D.C.
