Jerusalem, the City Chosen of God. - "And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David My servant may have a light always before Me in JERUSALEM, THE CITY WHICH I HAVE CHOSEN ME TO PUT MY NAME THERE."

"But I HAVE CHOSEN JERUSALEM, THAT MY NAME MIGHT BE THERE; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel."

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!"

41 - "And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it,"
42 - "Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes."
43 - "For the days shall come upon thee, that your enemies shall cast a trench about you, and compass you round, and keep you in on every side,"
44 - "And shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you knew not the time of your visitation."

2 - "And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 - "And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the age?"

20 - "And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is near."
21 - "Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter therein."
22 - "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."
23 - "But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people."
24 - "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."
25 - "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;"
26 - "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things that are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."
27 - "And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
28 - "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near."

"They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

6 - "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
7 - "Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this."

5 - "And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He said,"
6 - "As for these things which you behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

"Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

10 - "And while they looked intently toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;"
11 - "Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven."
12 - "Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey."

"And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."

13 - "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet."
14 - "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
15 - "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame"
16 - "And He gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."
