DO YOU BELIEVE?
This is my favorite time of year. The time just flies, especially the older I get. I want to put the brakes on, and just enjoy the full meaning of all of Christmas, drinking in the spirit fully -- every single day. By the way.....I believe. Do you?
I decorate our house from stem to stern in festive goodies, largely for my own enjoyment. The older I get, the less I enjoy the actual decorating, since it seems like such a lot of work. But I probably won't back off any time soon, because of the satisfaction the end result gives me.
I believe in the Christmas spirit in the personification of Santa Claus. I believe in the human spirit, and that good will win out over evil. Call me Pollyanna, but I believe in basic human kindness.
I believe in worlds beyond the mundane, everyday one in which we exist. I believe in the surreal, the supernatural.
I believe in a Higher Power, although I don't know yet just what form she takes for me.
