For you to love while he lives, and mourn when he is dead.

It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?

He値l bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief,
You値l have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call, or take him back again?

I fancied that I heard them say, Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we値l run.

We値l shelter him with tenderness, we値l love him while we may;
And for the happiness we致e known, will ever grateful stay.

But shall the angels call for him much sooner than we planned,
We値l brave the bitter grief that comes. And try to understand.

For The Love Of Tiffany

Well, that awful day is again here
I can't believe it's been a year.

Who would have known last Christmas day
That just a month later,
A drunk driver would take your life away?

It's not the same without you here
And there have been so many tears.
I tried so hard to save you,
But there was nothing I could do.

I know you understood and
Heard and knew the things I said to you.
I know you knew I was there,
Praying and caring for you,
Playing your favorite songs
And sitting with you all night long.

How could this happen?
In an instant so many lives were changed.
All our hopes and dreams for our
Family and future were rearranged.

I have so many wonderful memories and
souvenirs of times of you and me.
Now, my memories consist of what I did
On those special days that used to be.

I brought to the cemetery what would show
How special you are to me.
Flowers that will soon wilt, a deflated balloon,
All brought to someone who died too soon.

Now I look for wreaths or flowers
To bring to your grave.
I feel total disbelief and am sick at those times,
But I try so hard to be brave.

That's all I can do for you now.
I fight to keep your memory alive
And hope that all of those who love you
Will be able to survive.

Tiffany you were such a special child,
You gave so much and had so much more to give.
I promise for you I will try again to live,
For right now I feel as I am just existing in this world
That I do not want to be a part of, not without you.

The pain of thinking I have to live the rest of my life
Without you being a part of it is unbearable.
All I can do now is try and make it through
One day at a time, and remember in my heart
You will always be mine.

I love you and miss you so much, Tiffany!

Do It While You Can

Do it while you can because you don't know what tomorrow will bring
Do it while you still have the time to listen to one another
Do it while you still can hear them running through the house
Do it while they are still ther to say I love you
Do it while they are still there to say I love you
Do it while they are still there to put your arms around you and give you a hug
Do it while someone is still there to listen
Do it while someone cares enough to say thank you
Do it while ther is still someone to share it with
Do it when no one thinks that you are going to
Do it whenever you have the chance so that they know it
Do it when no one else cares enough to do it
Do it when it seems that no one wants to hear it
Do it when everyone seems to thinks that it's known
Do it when you think it's the right time
Do it when someone seems down and needs help getting up
Do it when nothing else matters but doing it
Do it when they think you don't really mean it
Do it when they don't think it's fun anymore
Do it today and tell someone that you love them
Because you don't know if they will be there tomorrow or not.

THE LIGHT IN THE VALLEY

This poem was written by Aimee Miller and it is to go with the picture that she drew above.

The Valley was so quiet, there were birds flying through the sky. The water rushed through the river. Suddenly, a very bright light came shining through the valley. And in that shining light was an angel.

Then I realized that was not just an angel, it was my step=sister Tiffany. I have never seen such a pretty light in my life until now.

Now I realized that when you think about someome who died in your family that you love and miss very much, they will show up.

Her eyes twinkled like stars, and tears came down my face. Then when I told her that I loved her, she disappeared and said in a soft whisper, "I love you too!"
