A Special Gift
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him

Salvation is the most important, precious and
free gift we have received from God. It is not earned by works, but is
given by grace to those who ask for it. Salvation results in the forgiveness
of all your sins and God remembers your sins no more.
Many people have rejected this precious
gift from God. God has provided a way for us to be reconciled back to Him
through the death, burial, and resurrection of his precious Son, Jesus
Christ. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins through His precious
blood on the cross at Calvary.
"What do I have to do be saved?" All we must
do is accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and repent
from our sins.
( Acts 16:31-33.)
31. So they said, "Believe on the
Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your
household."
32. Then they spoke the word of the
Lord to him and to all who were in his house.
33. And he took them the same hour
of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all
his family were baptized.
It is important to pray, to read the Holy Bible,
meditate, and acknowledge Him in all that we do.
We also read that people in the Bible got baptized
as an outward expression of their "new birth" in obedience and dedication
to God after they received salvation.
It is important for a Christian to confess
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before men. You should also find
a good Bible believing church, and start attending regularly, as well as
regularly reading the Bible so that you can grow in your love for God and
knowledge of His ways.
After you have received the free gift of salvation
which results in the forgiveness of all your sins, be warned that the devil,
Satan, will come and try to persuade you to stop reading your Bible, stop
going to Church, stop seeking after the things of God, and encourage you
to fall back into sin. Stand firm with the Word of God (Holy Bible) and
seek God's answers to any struggles you are going through. Prayer
and reading your Bible are vital to help you grow as a Christian.
As you meditate and study the Bible, you will be transformed and renewed
both physically and spiritually. The Bible has great power in it, and God
wants you to learn and apply scripture, to help you live better each day
and have a closer walk with Him.
I am sure you will have lots of questions,
so I encourage you to pray and ask Jesus to lead you in the direction that
you should go. Also ask Him to send people and events into your life to
direct and to encourage you. It is a daily walk to be a Christian, and
I pray that you ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior and believe
on Him, that He died, was buried, and was resurrected, and that Jesus'
precious blood was shed for the forgiveness of your sins. To receive the
free gift of salvation, pray a prayer like the one below. Please
be sincere when praying this, for God loves you and wants to free you from
the wages of sin and death. If a person chooses not to accept the
free gift of salvation, they will receive eternal life in hellfor
their sins. Thanks to God and His Son, Jesus Christ, that we can receive
the free gift of salvation! Please pray the below prayer:
" Lord Jesus, please come into my life.
I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I reject sin, and repent of all my
sins. Lord Jesus, I thank you that today is the day of my Salvation and
You have now forgiven me of all my sins. Help me, Lord, to walk in Your
ways from this day forward. Let me not stray, Lord, but send people into
my life to help teach and encourage me in Your ways. I believe that You
died, were buried, and were resurrected and now sit at the right hand of
the Father. Jesus, thank you for being my Lord and Savior, and for forgiving
me of all my sins. In Jesus Christ's name I pray and ask this. Amen.

that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Also call the pastor of your church or, if you
don't have a church, pray and call the church that God is leading you to,
and tell the pastor that you have just accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior, and want to share the "good news" with him. Ask him to pray
for you.
"God, I come before you in Jesus Christ's
name, to pray for you, for accepting your free gift of salvation through
Jesus Christ. I thank you, Lord Jesus, that they have asked you to forgive
them of all their sins and that they have received You as their Lord and
Savior. I pray that you will guide them. Please protect them for all attacks
of the enemy, and let them not stray from the path that you desire them
to walk. Send people and events into their life to encourage them and to
help them follow You. Never let them forget this day or to turn their
back on You, Lord Jesus. God bless them in all that they say, think, and
do. Let their life be a living testimony to You. In Jesus name I pray.
Amen."
