The Temple



Abu Simbel-Ramses II temple
It is near the Sudanese border. It was completely removed stone by stone when Assuan dam was built and rebuilt about 200 yards far from its original place. That because it would be submerged by the lake Nasser originated by Assuan dam on Nile. All the statues represent the Pharaoh Ramses the second.
