      • Laurie - CoLiaison

I live in Utah - home of the 2002 Winter Olympics! I've been married to the same man for 24 years and am a grandmother of two cute little boys, mother to two daughters and devoted, but independent wife of a "stuffed shirt". *G*

Until 1998, I worked full-time as an Executive Secretary for land developers in our area. My bosses and I did alot of legal documents together over the 14 years I worked there, and I enjoy that. I also handled the accounts receivables for the Trust Deed Notes and had to deal with people who were late making payments of $100,000 lots in an exclusive subdivision.

Now, I tend my grandsons full-time so that their mothers can work. They do pay me - which keeps them from taking me for granted...I hope. *G* When I am not busy with them, and other household stuff, I play on the 'puter, scrapbook (which I've been doing since I was 8 years old), crochet, read, and do genealogy at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

I began "playing" on the "net" in April 1998 and began my first page in GeoCities in May 1998. I got into a hurry and applied to become a Community Leader 3 days early, so I had to wait a LONG time to become a CL...but in August, I finally passed the course. PHEW!

In March 1999, I became a CoLiaison in the Enchanted Forest and in March 2000 I became a CoLiaison in Heartland. It's a blast to help others. I even get to teach all the html courses at Web Tech U (basic html, forms, tables and frames) and am an Assistant Dean as well. So, if you need html help, you know I'll be willing to help! *G* I also serve on the Heartland Genealogy Committee and love what I'm doing there also!

I have a help page for you. It's mostly links to places that have lots of helps on them. Decided not to re-write what others had done...I'd appreciate hearing about any broken links.
