I know that most genealogy sites are done by women, but there area few exceptions and I happen to be one. Nothing wrong with the gif's, in fact they are very nice but I had a hard time selecting one that fit me. No genealogy gif's yet. Thanks, don

We ran a contest in January for a logo for our new site, and selected and paid for the winning design in good faith, only to learn through this unfortunate situation that our "original" design included clip art. I am very embarrassed and sorry that this has caused difficulties for Heartland Select. They have a great site - very useful and well-organized. My apologies to everyone. Jan

After some research, I have discovered that the logo was NOT copied from The Natural Child Project's web site. This graphic is apparently part of a royalty-free software program, and was submitted to a logo contest (and thusly selected and copyrighted) prior to finding this out. Again, I apologize to Barb (this site owner) for my hasty comments.

The "TM" is even shown next to the image. I would really appreciate it if you would REMOVE this image from your web site immediately and remove it from any banners you've assigned to client sites.
