The Ave Maria HouseApril 6, 1997Today we celebrate the Feast of the Divine Mercy. Today we celebrate the Feast of Love. I am the Mother of the Divine Mercy. I am the Mother of the Divine Mercy. I am the Mother of the Divine Mercy. My little ones, the doors to the Divine Mercy of God are open to all who wish to enter, but you must hurry, my little ones, because soon, very soon, they will close. Tell it to everyone. You must hurry and come inside the gates of the Divine Mercy of God. Tell all my little ones that I love them and to take advantage of this opportunity God is granting them. My little ones, I want you to be meek and humble of heart, as My Son Jesus is meek and humble of heart. Humility is to recognize your own poverty, to be poor. And to be poor is to need God's help. Being poor, my little ones, is to expect everything to come from God, everything from God. To be poor is to trust God, my little ones, and to be poor is to be an empty being that awaits to be filled by God, my little ones. I invite you to do just that, my little ones, to empty yourselves of your egos, of your will, of your things, of your wants, of so many things, my little ones that do not let God's will be done in your lives. Empty yourselves completely, my little ones, so you will become an empty clay pot that can be filled by God, my little ones. Be poor, be humble, be poor as I am poor. My little ones, I love being poor, because I need God's Grace, and you need God's Grace also. What would we do without God's Grace? What would become of Me without God's Grace? What would become of me and of you, my little ones? What would become of the Universe without God's Grace? My little ones, we are poor, very poor. We are fragile, very fragile. But God is everything and God is strength, and God overflows with love. And God can fill you with His Grace, my little ones, God can fill us with His Grace. I love you very much, my children, I love you very much. If you could know how happy I am to be poor, to be needy. You will be happy if you become poor, needy, because you will not have to worry. Everything, all will come from God. And that is how it must be. Everything, you must expect everything to come from God. Trust in God. Be poor, be humble, my little ones. My Son Jesus says: "Whoever wants to be the first must be the last. Whoever wants to be the greatest must become the servant of all." My little ones, I invite you to serve your brothers as I serve. My little ones, it is not just your brother, it is My Son Jesus. Each time you do something for your brother you do it for My Son Jesus, Who hides in you, Who hides in your brother. Jesus sais: "Come, blessed of My Father, because I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me to drink. I was naked and you dressed me, and you visited me when I was ill." My little ones, the clue to all is to recognize the presence of My Son Jesus in your brothers. And to become small, my little ones, because you must be the smallest. The smallest, because what is great in the eyes of man is small in God's eyes, and what is small in the eyes of man is big in God's eyes, very big, my little ones, very big. Worry about being the smallest, and in that way you will be the biggest in God's eyes. And that is what really matters, my little ones, what you are in the eyes of God., not what you are in the eyes of man. Humility. And to be humble you must renounce yourselves, my little ones. Renounce your wants, your rebellions, your egos, and above all, renounce your will. If you were humble, you would be so happy! You would not suffer insults, because the humble offer all to God, and the humble rejoice in the insults. Learn from My Son Who is meek and humble of heart. My little ones, we are simple creatures of God, and the creature expects everything to come from its Creator. I expect all from my Creator, and so must you.
