El Salvador

Our Lady of Fatima

We thank Mr. Juan Harrison, who has provided us with all this information, and who is our contact on the town or Cojutepeque in El Salvador.

The town of Cojutepeque in el Salvador has the only original replica of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima in the world.

This statue was raffled 48 years ago, and the town won it on two different occasions. Today the statue is kept in a shrine that was built specifically for that purpose. This shrine has a cement cross - seven meters tall - that was built there as a request of Our Lady. This cross is the one that will allegedly shine for three days and three nights, simultaneously with the Great Miracle that has been foretold to the visionaries of Garabandal.

The visionary, Nelly Hurtado, has been receiving messages from Our Lady since 1991. She says the apparitions in El Salvador will be the last in the world, and that El Salvador will become the "lighthouse of the world".

The apparitions are now under investigation by the local church authorities, and Father Octavio Cruz, has been very cautious with his comments to this date - but our contacts in El Salvador tell us that, in a recent television interview, the priest admitted the possibility that there may be something supernatural happening in his parish.

Nelly receives internal locutions, and the Virgin appears to her on specific pre-announced dates.

Last year, the apparitions took place on the following dates:

  • May 13

  • May 25

  • July 9 - Our Lady of Mount Carmel

  • August 15 - The Annunciation

  • September 29 - St. Michael the Archangel

  • November 25 - Anniversary of the arrival of the statue to the town of Cojutepeque.

  • December 8 - The Immaculate Conception

  • December 25

  • February 11 - Our Lady of Lourdes

The next apparition has been announced for April 13.

The visionary has also been told that there will be two additional visionaries, one of which has been identified as Sister Felicita Perez, of the Franciscan order of the Immaculate Conception, who has already received a message for the local church during the apparition of February 11.

Note:
No official communication has been issued by the Church regarding these apparitions. You should use your discernment in reading the messages.
Should the Church reach negative conclusions about the apparitions, I will remain obedient to the Mother Church and remove these pages from my web site.
