Recite the Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth,

and in in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day He rose again.

He ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the Holy Catholic Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and life everlasting.

Amen.

Pray One Our Father, three Hail Mary's and one Glory be for the virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity.

OUR FATHER, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

HAIL MARY, Full of Grace,

The Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women,

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

pray for us sinners

now, and at the hour of death.

The Rosary is divided in three parts, each of which has five mysteries. While meditating on each mystery, recite one Our Father, ten Hail Marys and one Glory Be. You can pray all fifteen mysteries at one time, or divide them in three parts:

The Joyful Mysteries - Mondays and Thursdays

The Sorrowful Mysteries - Tuesdays and Fridays

The Glorious Mysteries - Wednesdays and Saturdays

After each mystery, say the Fatima Prayer:

O my Jesus,

forgive us our sins,

save us from the fires of hell,

and lead all souls to Heaven,

especially those in most need of Your Mercy

At the end of five mysteries, pray the Hail Holy Queen

Hail, holy Queen, 
Mother of Mercy, 
our life, our sweetness, and our hope. 
To thee do we cry, 
poor banished children of Eve. 
To thee do we send up our sighs 
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. 
Turn then, most gracious advocate, 
thine eyes of mercy toward us, 
and after this our exile 
show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. 
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

Pray one Our Father, three Hail Mary's and one Glory Be for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Now that you have reached the crucifix again, finish your Rosary by making the Sign of the Cross once more.

If you have never prayed the Rosary, following these instructions may be a little hard at first, and you may feel like you're more concentrated in the order of the prayers than in the prayers themselves. Don't give up!
