If you have never received Jesus Christ as
your personal Savior, then your soul is living in darkness. We want you to
have the joy and peace of having light in your soul!
Realize that first of
all you are a sinner in the sight of God. Romans 3:10,"As it is written,
There is none righteous, no not one.” Romans 3:23, “For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We have all fallen
short of God’s glory. Without Christ we are all in the same condition. We
are all lost in the darkness of sin.
Understand that your sin has earned you a
debt with God. Romans 6:23a,” For the wages of sin is death."
Accept the fact that
you cannot save yourself, but that salvation is a gift of God. Ephesians
2:8-9,”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.“
Isaiah 64:6,” But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our
iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Romans 6:23b,”but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The
best you and I can do will never measure up to God’s glory. Our only source
of salvation is in Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 15:3b-4,”how
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was
buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
Understand also that Jesus loves you, and that He has already
paid the price in full for your sin! Romans
5:8,”But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
When Jesus Christ becomes your Savior, “…the
light of the glorious gospel of Christ”, immediately shines in your soul!
You are freed from the darkness of sin forever!
Here is a simple prayer you may pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I realize that I am a sinner, and that I
cannot save myself. I believe that you are the Son of God, and that you
shed your blood and died in my place. Please, forgive me of my sin and be
my personal Savior. Thank you for saving me.
Amen.
