These are the stock LT1 motor mounts. The first row are just pictures of the mounts. The second row is different. If you click on the pictures, you will be able to see numbers. They start at 1 on the right and go to 4 on the left. What do they mean? Well, these are the bolts that are to be used for the motor mounts. The LT1 uses 1-3 while typical 350's use 2-4. So what this means is that you must modify the mounts that you can buy, which are the ones in the third row. They are Advance Adapters and can be purchased from Summit Racing Equipment. The modified mounts are below. |

Here is the exact passenger mount with some slight modifications I have made. Basically, you need to make a large cut to the upper right side of the passenger mount to clear the A/C bracket. Then weld a bit more 3/8" steel down at the bottom, to make room for the third hole that the engine requires. Make it slotted too!! But don't make it crappy and ugly like mine. ALSO, you need to cut off a bit of the bottom left corner, uder the bracket to make room for the knock sensor. The pictures show where to cut and why. The driver mount requires no modifications. |

These are some pics of the engine ready to be dropped onto the frame. I have included the 2.8 frame mounts that I bought from a junkyard for $50 bucks. What a ripoff! |
