Must be a financial member of the Club six (6) weeks before the Championships start.
- Must have competed in 50% of swims for the year from time of joining the club, with
a minimum of 6 swims.
- Must have entered championships on the correct entry card (see below) and paid the
fee one (1) week prior to the event being contested.
- The age category you must compete in is that for your age at the time of commencement
of the championships.
- Members may enter an event in a stroke which they have not previously done a time
trial for.
- Results of events are based on times in heats combined with the judges results.
- The Swimming Rules of the NSW ASA are the governing rules of the championships.
- Postponement of a championship swim will only be granted if the member is competing
at another officially recognised swimming carnival. Notification must be given to
the committee in writing at least one week prior to the event for approval to be
granted.
- At least two times are required for a Championship Record to be recognised - The
Lane Timer and the Check Timer.
- If you have dual membership with another club, you must nominate first choice for
championship places. Second claim may take records but not places.
Entry Cards - the following boxes on the entry card must be completed:
- event number (look in the back of your Almanac)
- date of championship event (look in the back of your Almanac)
- name, club, I.D. number (on your card you received at registration)
- date of birth and age as at the first day of championships
- entry time is your best time for this event, if you haven't swum this distance/stroke
before, leave this blank
