That is to say the bonus is cummulative with all other saving throw bonuses. The scarab can also absorb up to 12 level draining or 12 pts of attribute draining effects. Atlas of the Chronomancer (bkpk), essentially a device that can cast a Find Object spell with a range of the entire world, and with ability to show present, future and past. It will show a map or a picture that will provide important clues to the location of that item. The Atlas is a prickly and quirky magic item and it is not completely reliable, it will sometimes reveal what it wants the user to see, that is might not reveal the exact location of an item sometimes, but rather a location that will hold some clue to the exact location, or something the user might need as a precondition for obtaining the item. The more it is used within a short time, the vaguer and more obstinate the item will be.
The Scroll of the Chronomancer gives details.
Demonstone (wrapped in cloth, bkpk)

Background:
'I am Pharuk al-Ver, a young mage. I am the son of Trantar, of the line of Ver. Trantar was an influential dervish of my clan owning some large waterholes. I have.... had two younger brothers and we worked together hunting, gathering and herding. We had a herd of 20 goats and owned seven camels, too. But since my early years I was fascinated by the magic. In the spare time I often tried to visit Antac, the old sage who lived in the Cave of the Blinded Djinn. He taught me the basics of desert magic known as Ajami k'aala, and I learned and practised every spell could get. I will avenge my family and my clan!'
