Dancing was considered the religious ceremony most pleasing
to the Gods and dedication of all activity to be divine was the –
highest form of worship. India has always embodied a principle

araja. Bharata Natyam is the dance technique of Tamil India. It
is usually danced by a solo woman dancer. The songs are purely
devotional love songs, the dancer being the devotee and god, the beloved. It is an attractive ancient art of India. Chadulam is the speciality of this art. It uncovered the layers of the past in the Indian dance tradition with a whole range of movements and steps.
