Razamataz, Jamarcus and Katamania sat down behind a box, after looking for Gutie.
"Where can a little kitten possibly hide?" Raza asked.
"I have no idea Raz" Kata answered her best friend in a, tired voice.
"Should we go back to Dad?" Jama asked, uncertain for once.
"No way, you can, but I'm staying here, he was angry when we returned the fist time, he was even angrier when I didn't obey him before when I found Gini, but I think, if we returned another time with out that little kitten, he would go psycho" Kata argued, holding her head in her paws as she remembered her father yelling at her.
Raz patted Kata on her back, he would never tell Macavity, but he had over heard him yelling at Kata, she knew, but he knew she wouldn't tell Mac.
"But what else can we do?" Jama asked.
"I dunno, your the oldest" Kata answered.
"So?"
"So you should be able to think of something, Macavity is your dad"
"He's yours to"
"Not really"
"Yes he is"
"Whatever"
"I'm going to look for the stupid kitten again" Raza said, interrupting the sibling rivalry.
"I'm with you Raz" Kata said and got up.
"Let's start from where we first saw him" Kata suggested as she and Raza walked off.
Jama shrugged his shoulders and fell asleep in the alleyway.
"I don't see why dad want's a new kitten" Kata said.
"Me either, maybe you dames aren't as cute anymore" Raza teased. Kata gave Raza a cheeky glare and flicked her fringe out of her eyes again.
"I'm just kidding Kata, I think you are, I mean, I think all of you are, umm"
"Yes Raza?" Kata raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry"
Kata rolled her eyes and sniffed around, trying to smell Gutie's scent. "You sound like a Pollicle doing that, I hope you know"
Kata pounced on Raza and flipped him over.
"Say that again to my face" Kata dared with a smile.
"You ... umm ... sound ... like ... a ..."
"Yeahhhhh?"
In the warehouse
"I'm glad your back Gini" said Natch, coming up to Gini who was sitting on the ground, thinking about the Jellicles.
"Good on ya" Gini answered.
"No, really I am, the warehouse hasn't been the same without you" Natch said, sitting down.
"Okay than" Gini answered. She had no idea why he was talking to her, he never had before really.
"We all really missed you"
"Okay, how much catnip did you find this time, actually, don't talk to me, goodbye" Gini said and walked quickly off. She wasn't looking and bumped into Macavity.
"Watch where you’re going" Macavity said, laughing softly.
"Sorry Mac, do you know what's wrong with Natch? He's acting really weird" Gini said.
"I'll find out for you, okay? Keep out of trouble, unless I tell you to, okay?" Mac said and started walking again.
"Thanks Maca" Gini called after him, then went to lie down.
In the Jellicle Junkyard
Tugger was lonely without Gingivere.
Bombalurina wondered up and nuzzled him.
"Hey Tuggy, where've you been? I missed you" Bomby said, resting her head on his arm.
"I had to do something" Tugger answered, in his normal voice that most of the queens were crazy about.
"Did you know, if I was anyone else, I'd ask, but I think you want to keep a secret, don't you?" Bomby asked.
"You got that right, thanks Bomby, come on, I want to show you something" Tugger said, getting Bomby's paw and leading her to the secret lair that he had let Gingivere stay in.
"Wow, you’re so lucky, is this where you disappear to when Etcetera annoys you?" Bomby asked.
"Yep, this is it, usually, I thought I'd show you, since you're so nice" Tugger said, resting a arm over Bomby's shoulders.
"Thanks Tugger, it's really nice, this is where you hid that Hells Dames queen, Gingivere, or something, isn't it?" Bomby asked. Tugger whipped a paw over her mouth.
"How do you know?" He asked in a whisper.
"I was, well, I was spying on you. I guess it's no secret that I like you Tugger, but you like that Gini queen now don't you?" Bomby asked in a sad voice.
"I don't know.... but, I do know for certain that I like you" Tugger said, cupping Bomby's chin in his paw. (We'll just leave those two now, I'll leave it to your imagination)
Jamarcus had caught up to Raza and Kata and they were looking again for Gutie. Suddenly they heard.
"ALL HAIL KING GUTIE! ALL HAIL KING GUTIE!"
"That's coming from the Pollicle junkyard" Raza exclaimed, raising an eyebrow.
"Are you sure dad would want the king of the Pollicles?" Kata asked sceptically.
"Whatever, lets just grab him and be done with it" Jama answered. The three slipped in, keeping to the fence, Jama leading, then Raza, then Kata. The dogs were so stupid, they didn't see them until they were right behind Gutie and were about to grab him.
"HEY, DUH! IT'S DEM CATS AGAIN!" One of them exclaimed.
"And, DUH! they're getting our king!" another exclaimed as Raza grabbed Gutie, holding a paw over him mouth.
"And they're DUH! getting away with our king!" yet another one exclaimed as the three, with Gutie ran away.
"What should, we DUH! do?"
"Ummmmmm, King Gutie, what should we do? Oh yeah, he's not here! DUH!" Jama, Raza and Kata ran all the way back to Macavity's lair, with Gutie struggling all the way.
They finally ran up to Macavity, dumping the kitten on the ground, holding his tail so he couldn't get away.
"Here Dad, the kitten you wanted" Jama said, pointing at Gutie.
"Good, good, leave him with me now, okay?" Macavity said.
Raza, Jama and Kata shrugged and walked out again.
"Well that was interesting" Raza yawned.
"I'll see ya tomorrow, okay Raza? Seeya Jama" Kata said and walked off.
"Seeya Raza, seeya Kata" Jama answered and walked off to his lair.
In the Hells Dames lair, everything was normal, Miata and Griddlebone were playing cards, Gingivere was cleaning her coat, and Dexia and Kata were fighting.
"I'm bored, what do you want to do?" Gini asked.
"I wanna sleep" Kata answered and zonked out on the floor, exhausted after chasing after Gutie.
"I want to go to that tavern again" Dexia exclaimed.
"Do you want to Griddle?" Miata asked, throwing down her cards and standing up.
"Yeah, may as well" Griddle answered and so Gingivere, Miata, Dexia and Griddlebone all walked off to the tavern that Griddle used to own.
"Now, kitten, look at this pretty locket" Macavity said, swinging the locket from side to side slowly.
"It is pretty sir" Gutie answered nervously.
"LOOK AT IT!"
"Yes sir" Gutie watched the locket, swinging from side to side, until he felt tired.
"Now Gutie, are you tired?"
"Yes sir"
Macavity waited a few more seconds, until Gutie's eyes closed and he was rocking from side to side sleepily.
"Gutie, can you hear me?"
"Yes sir"
"You will now always call me Macavity, not sir, okay?"
"Yes Macavity"
"You have always worked for me, ever since you were six weeks old, I saved you from drowning. You will always do whatever I say, hate every Jellicle you meet, and kill every Pollicle or Peke you see, okay?" Macavity asked.
"Yes Macavity"
"And you will never remember that you were in a hypnotic state"
"Yes Macavity"
"When I hit you on the head, you will wake up"
Macavity hit him, and Gutie woke up, then fell to the floor, unconscious.
"I'm going to have to learn another way to wake them up" Maca muttered and picked up Gutie, dumping him in a lair and closing the door. He hated hypnotising them, but everyone in his lair was. Well, except for Jamarcus, his son, Griddlebone, his sister and the Hells Dames who were either to cute (Dexia, Miata, and Gini) or to dumb (Kata) , everyone else was hypnotised, Natch, all his rats, everyone.
"DUH! I wonder were King Gutie is"
"Who's King DUH Gutie?"
"Sounds like a food DUH!"
"No way DUH! It's a game"
"I don't DUH! know what it is"
"Oh DUH! well, who wants to find the postman?"
The Pollicles yelled "DUH" and ran off.
Kata opened one eye and looked around carefully, you couldn't be too careful when your were the daughter of Macavity. She didn't see anyone.
*Wonder where they've gone.....oh well* Kata thought and closed her eyes again.
*This is uncomfortable, how the hell did I go to sleep on this?* Kata asked herself as she got up from the pile of chips from the poker game. She moved over to some beanbags and fell down on to them and closed her eyes again.
After a while she opened them again. *Ahhhh shit, well, that bloody well sux* Kata thought, *Now I've woken up and I can't go to sleep* Kata thought with a frown.
*Oh well, I'll just have to go and see Raza* Kata thought and went to see her best friend.
The Hells Dames entered the Tavern and looked around.
"Hey! Griddle! How ya been doing?" A cat, named Cyclops, who always seemed to wear red sun glasses, asked from behind the counter.
"Yeah, how ya been doing? And how's the rest of ya?" another cat with white eyes asked, called Storm.
"Hey you guys, we've been fine" Griddle answered, happy to see her friends again.
"Hey, where's Rogue? And Wolverine?" Gingivere asked, she hadn't seen her friends for ages.
"Oh, they're a bit tied up at the moment, no one's supposed to know, but I'll tell ya, Sabertooth and Mystique got in and they're taking care off them" Storm answered.
"Not anymore, they got away" Rogue answered crossly as she and Wolverine stormed into the Tavern angrily.
"Hey, they'll be back, calm down, you especially Logan" Cyclops said, using his real name.
"Shut the Hell up Scott"
"Good to see you normal again"
When Gutie woke up, his head hurt badly.
"I must see if Macavity needs anything" he muttered and went to find Macavity.
"DUH! There's the postman!"
"He's DUH! mine!"
"Beat you DUH! to him!"
"No DUH! way!"
"Hey Kat"
"Hey Raza"
"What do ya wanna do?"
"I dunno, go to the caves?"
"Yeah, sure" And they walked off.
"So, what ya been doing?"
"You sound like a Jellicle Raz, don't be so proper"
"Come here and say that to my face"
"Okay" Kata said and walked in front of him and said right in his face.
"YOU SOUND LIKE A FRIGGEN' JELLICLE RAZ, DON'T BE - HEY! LEAVE ME ALONE! HEY, NO FAIR" Kata shrieked as Raza picked her up and slung her over his shoulder.
"Haha, Kat, never trust a stray" Raz answered and then let go of Kata so she fell down behind him.
"Your going to pay" Kata growled as she untangled herself and then she chased Raza all the way to the secret caves where they liked to scare then hell out of each other. (Very sad kitties)
The Hells Dames had come back from the Tavern, happy to see their friends again.
"Hey, umm, Gingivere, could I talk to you?" Natch asked as Gini walked in.
"Umm, sure, I have to see Macavity first though, okay? Then I'll come back, wait here" Gini said and darted off to find Macavity. When she found him, he was busy with Gutie.
"You go and do that, okay Gutie? Good boy" Maca said when he saw the expression on Gini's face.
"What is it Gini?" He asked.
"Natch is acting weird again, it's freaking me out"
"I'll come with you, okay? Then he won't say anything, I might be able to see what's wrong, okay?" Maca said.
"Okay, thanks Maca"
When they walked up to Natch, he took one look at Macavity and then seemed to change his mind.
"Don't worry Gini, seeya, seeya sir" Natch said and ran off.
"He seems scared of you" Gini said, looking a Maca.
"Or embarrassed, I think I know what's wrong, I'll just go see if I can find out, I'll tell you what I find" Maca said and darted off in the direction of Natch's lair.
Gini shook her head and went to the Hells Dames lair.
When Gini walked into the Hells Dames Lair, she was greeted by the sight of Dexia in front of the mirror, Miata and Griddle playing poker, with their collars at stake and as usual, no sight of Kata.
"Ha! Hand it over Griddle!" Miata cried as she won.
"Ohhhhhh, C'mon Miata, we were just joking, right? You can't mean my collar!" Griddle pleaded, but reluctantly took of her diamond collar.
"Humph, Jerrie gave that to me you know" Griddle said angrily.
"Well I'll give you the chance to win it back then" Miata reasoned.
"What do I loose if you win?"
"Nothing, I'm getting sick of winning"
"Okay then"
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Who booby trapped my fur spray?" Dexia yelped as her fur spray turned her fur fluoro green.
"Hahahahaha"
"Heeheeheehee"
"I think I know" Gini said and walked over to the supply lair.
She opened the door and Raza and Kata fell on the floor. They looked up at The Hells Dames and tried to keep a straight face.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" They laughed and ran outside, Kata chucking another spray bottle at Dexia.
"Humph" Dexia said and sprayed the new spray and watched as the green faded from her coat.
"Yes! I get my collar back!"
"Finally"
"HEY! It only took 17 times!"
"Yeah, really short huh?"
Griddle rolled her eyes as she snapped her collar back on. "I don't wanna play anymore Miata"
"Fine, your loss"
"Hey you guys, what would you do if Natch was acting weird around you?" Gini asked suddenly, after thinking for a while.
"What do you mean by weird?" Griddle asked, instantly interested.
"Like I mean by, wanting to talk to me, but if Maca's around, then he doesn't, and saying that he missed me when I was with Tugger, and saying the warehouse wasn't the same, and-"
"You mean like as if he's got a crush on you" Dexia said, as she brushed her fur.
"WHAT???!!!"
"It's like, simple Gin, he says he misses you, and I've seen him staring at you all the time, I'd say he's got a crush on you"
"Oh eugghhhhh" Gini exclaimed, making a face only a cat could make.
"Poor you Gini" Miata said shacking her head.
"Oooooo, that's gotta hurt, what do you wanna do about it?" Griddle asked.
"I dunno, Maca's looking into it already"
"Hey, Gini, something for ya, he said not to tell, but stuff him, it's from Natch" Kata said, handing Gini an envelope as she rushed in. Kata heard a noise, and winced.
"Okay, if Raza asks if you saw me, you didn't, okay?" Kata asked and rushed out again.
"Whatever" The Hells Dames replied, waving a paw and watching as Gini opened it.
"Hey dames, seen Kata?" Raza asked as he rushed in.
"She went that way" Miata said, pointing down the hall.
"HEY YOU GUYSSSSSSS" Kata called.
"Thanks!" Raza said and dashed off again.
"What does it say?" Dexia asked, putting down her fur brush and sitting next to Gini.
"It says, I'll read it out,
Dear Gingivere,
Would you meet me outside the lake entrance at 7 tonight.
From, your secret admirer.
"Well, that's like, simple, it's even his writing, he didn't use newspaper cut-outs, or get someone else to write it or anything!" Miata pointed out.
"Trust you to know about this stuff"
"I'm a detective and bloody proud of it thank you very much!"
"Watch your bloody language dames" Griddle said. They all looked over the note again.
Bomby and Tugger came out of the hiding place and asked Munkus where Old Deuteronomy was.
"He should be on the Vicarage Wall, why?" Munkus answered.
"You'll find out" Tugger answered and followed Bomby outside. They went up to the Vicarage wall.
"Hey Old D, can you bless us? We're going to be mates" Tugger asked when they got there.
"Sure young Bombalurina and Young Rum Tum Tugger, I'm sure you'll be a happy couple" Old D said and made a mark in the air in front of them.
"There you are, you are blessed. NOW LET ME SLEEP!!!!!!!!" Old D yelled.
"What really goes on behind all that fur" Tugger whispered to Bomby.
Macavity saw Natch give Kata an envelope and tell her something. It looked like Kata wasn't paying attention and Natch was looking around nervously. Kata walked off, envelope in paw. Macavity walked quietly up to Natch and caught his arm before Natch heard him.
"Hey Natch, what did you give Kata?"
"H, h, hi sir, umm, I just gave her a letter"
"What kind of letter Natch"
"Ummm, just a normal letter, you know"
"Who's it to? It isn't for Kata is it?"
"N, n, no Maca, it's for one of the Hells Dames"
"Which one?"
"G, G, Gingivere"
"What does it say?"
Suddenly Natch disappeared, leaving Macavity alone. "Hmmm, his hypnosis must be wearing off, I hypnotised his so he couldn't use his magic, anyway, I'll go and tell Gini what I found out" Maca said and walked off to find Gini.
"Hey Dames, Gini, I found out what's wrong with Natch" Maca said as he walked into the Hells Dames lair.
He ignored Miata and Griddle, who were disagreeing on a rule in their poker game, he ignored Dexia and Kata who were fighting, and he raised an eyebrow when he saw Raza just sitting there, watching everything.
"Yeah, so did I Maca, here's the note" Gini said and handed Maca the note.
"Hmmm, yeah, that's what I though, he has a crush on you, are you going to go there?" Maca asked.
"No way, he's ugly" Gini answered.
"What do you wanna do than?"
"Stand him up, stuff him"
"I'll fire him, this could interfere with your training" Maca said and walked off.
"Oowwwww!" Kata yelled as Dexia bit her paw.
"Baby bitch" Kata hissed and ran off. Far, far, away. Dexia shrugged and walked over to her mirror, and started brushing her fur again.
Raza slipped outside and followed Kata and Miata and Griddle gave up on their game.
"Well Gini, what do you wanna do?" Griddle asked, sitting next to Gini again.
"I dunno, let's just go and walk around and do something if we see it" Gini suggested.
So the Hells Dames went away on a walk, and killed every Pollicle they saw, and threw wet cement onto some human cars.
"HEY! DUH! I know who King Gutie is!"
"DUH! WHO?"
"DUH! He's that frog we saw!"
"YEAH! DUH!"
They all ran off in the direction of the lake and all jumped in. "Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"
