Medical Project 2002 - During this 4-week program, 700 children and their families were assessed and treated for head lice, scabies, acne, yeast infection and other disorders. After 30 years of struggle with head lice, the problem was eradicated. Classes were provided on dental hygiene, smoking, sexual development and birth control methods.

Landscape Project - In 1999, a new school was finally built to replace the unheated wooden barrack. The old school had no halls, inside bathrooms or a playground. The Foundation provided money for a landscaping project. Trees and bushes were planted by the Foundation founders, teachers and local officials. The school still needs a track and soccer field.
