FAQ
The Rules:
- I will NOT sell any of these :)
- If we have never traded before, and you contact me, I expect you to send first (sorry, I have gotten burned one to many times). I promise to have your shows ready, and I will send them out the very next day (or the same day if possible).
- Please make all recordings DOA (disc at once).
- Do not send me the cases, as I will not send them to you.
- Please provide a setlist with each recording, as I will do the same, even if I can find them on your website. Also, keep the writing (if needed) on the CDR to a minimum.
- I can trade in CDR and minidisc, but I only want CDR.
- Please keep in contact throughout the entire trade, so that there are no problems.
- We agree that if there is a problem with a show that wasn't known until delivery, it will be replaced...no hard feelings:)
The Grading Scale:
Please keep in mind that like all things, grading is subjective. Your "A" may not be my "A." Hence, the grading list below. Keep in mind, since we are trading bootlegs, and not offical recordings, nothing here is perfect.
There is bound to be some sort of audience noise, or a little too much bass, etc. As long we both are upfront with the quality of the show, so that there are no suprises, then there will also be no problems.
- A+ - Perfect soundboard.
- A - Most radio/tv recordings, great soundboards, or perfect audience recordings.
- A- - OK soundboards or great audience recordings.
- B+ - Good audience records.
- B - OK audience recordings.
- B- - Anything here and below is the land of completists.
Color Coding:
All shows with headings that are in black are available on cd or minidisc. All shows whose headings are green are only available on NTSC VHS. All
shows with headings that are red are only available on analog tape.
Symbols:
Tracks that are in parathesis means that it is talking, not music (exp. the talking before or after songs, interviews, etc.).
However, if there is talking or an interview and it is on the same track as a song, it will be noted like this: ---> (this also works for two songs that are one track).
If the song gradually works into another (think jazz) then it will be marked like this >.
SBD = soundboard source
AUD = audience recording
FM = radio broadcast
TV = television broadcast
What I Use:
I use EAC to rip my shows. I use Roxio's Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum to burn.
