SON GOLF LEAGUE


Moving into a New Millennium with a New Purpose in Golf

The Son Golf League is an interdenominational league designed to promote Christian fellowship, athletics, and outreach.  The key goals are to reach people for Christ and to supply money for needy students.   The Tri-Cities Division and the Rogersville Division will be using the 4-man Select shot format with the exception of 2 tournaments for the Rogersville Division.  Teams are encouraged to field teams of A, B, C, D caliber.

Son Golf Scholarship Fund

The 2001 season will again bring the Son Golf Scholarship Fund.  All fees and donations at each tournament will be placed in this fund after expenses.  Our goal for this season is $4,000.00.  These funds will be awarded to a student or students in need of financial aid for college.  Students from league churches will be eligible based on need.  Pastors willing to serve will form a committee and the selection process will be at their discretion.  Applications will be available at each tournament site.  A special locked box with information and applications will be located at registration and on the 1st tee.  Players, businesses, and organizations may give at any time at each tournament.  We would like to thank you for your consideration in giving to this scholarship fund.
