Online auctions are an Internet phenomenon that is here to stay.  Today, virtually everything can be sold through Internet auctions, from ordinary household goods to priceless art and collectibles.  Auction Megasite eBay has over 50 Million Registered Users (over 80% of which are buyers) and handles millions of dollars in sales every day.

 Why use a Trading Assistant?

Selling online isn’t always as easy as it looks!  The competition is fierce, and the buyers are looking for bargains.  As an experienced Trading Assistant we are familiar with the ins and outs of selling on eBay, and will use our experience to help you get the most money for your items.

In addition to using our knowledge and experience to boost your profits, you will have the convenience of our staff doing most of the work.  We will handle the entire auction process, from pre-listing market research to packing and shipping.  We will also handle all correspondence with your buyers, including invoicing and collections, and the leaving of final feedback.

armacphotos  reaches the widest possible audience of potential buyers for your items by listing them on online auction Web sites.  Online auctions reach people all over the US and the world who are interested in items like yours.  By reaching more bidders for your item, we believe you can receive a much higher price than you could by selling your item locally.

Using our specialized listing tools, we will place your auction ad by selecting the most appropriate auction web site (such as eBay) and a category which attracts the right bidders for your item.  We monitor the auction and answer any questions potential bidders may have.

Listing Agreement must be completed and signed before I list your items, and is for the sole purpose of preventing any misunderstandings, and protecting both of our interests.

Are Trading Assistants employees of eBay?  - No.  while eBay does provide a directory as a service to help people find Trading Assistants who can sell for the, Trading Assistants are independent business owners, and not employees, consultants or independent contractors of eBay Inc.   They are not individually endorse or approved by eBay.

How much do you charge? - Our fees are very simple.  We charge a flat fee of $7.50 per listing to list and manage your auction whether or not the item sells, and we will cover the basic eBay listing fees on "no-reserve" items, except for items listed in eBay Motors.  If you desire any special promotional features, such as highlighting or bold print, etc., you will be responsible for the additional charges at the time of listing.  If your item sells, we will deduct any selling related fees which have accrued, such as eBay final value fees, PayPal fees, taxes, etc., and a % commission.  You do not pay a commission if the item doesn't sell.  special rates may be arranged for multiple listings and/or charity fundraisers.

Why do you charge $X, when others only charge $Y? - eBay Trading Assistants are independent business owners, and are free to set their own prices.  Some newer Trading Assistants may be unfamiliar with the work actually involved in selling items for others on eBay, and set their prices too low unknowingly.  Others et lower than average prices in hopes of building their client base or feedback rating quickly, with little or no regard to making a profit.  These types of Trading Assistants tend to either burn out quickly, or raise their prices to a more realistic level.  In either case, the service provided may or may not be consistent, when the new Trading Assistant realizes they've taken on more than they can handle.

In contrast, we have almost three years of experience in both buying and selling on eBay, and have a thorough knowledge of the eBay auction process from beginning to end.  We take our commitment to both our customers and our clients very seriously, and we turn down a client rather than provide less than the very best service available.

While our fees are not always the lowest available, you will find that we are very competitively priced.  We spend a lot of time and effort to help ensure that you get the highest possible return for your items, and have set our fees accordingly.  In fact, we are so confident of our ability to help you, that we charge no commission at all unless your item sells!

Why do I have to sign a contract? - A short listing agreement must be completed and signed before we list your items, and is for the sole purpose of preventing any misunderstandings, and protecting both of our interests.  The agreement states what is expected and what services are to be done and performed with the costs of said service.  Simply put - "a contract between You and armacphotos.

What is the armacphotos Listing Form and is it really Needed? - The Listing Form is the "GUTS" of the entire Service we Provide.  This form will show What, How, When and where to sell your Auction item, everything needed to guide armacphotos.

Why do you have to take possession of my stuff? - Due to the fact that eBay holds the Trading Assistant ultimately responsible for any and all auctions listed, all items must be in our possession before listing, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, so that we may verify each item's description, and ensure that the item is shipped in a timely manner upon the auction's successful completion.

If the item (s) is to large to pick up we will take the required digital Photos of the Item (s) and will later make arrangement for getting it shipped.  Remember, the buyer will be paying the shipping/handling charges...unless other arrangements are made by you and armacphotos

How do I get paid if my item sells? - Upon successful completion of an auction, we will deduct the eBay final value fees and any other selling related fees which have accrued (taxes, PayPal, etc.).  We will also deduct a commission of % of the final selling price.  We will then issue a check for the remaining amount within 14 days, or credit your PayPal Account.

What happens if my item doesn't sell? - If your item does not sell, we may elect to re-list the item one time, at our discretion.  If your item does not sell the second time, you will be notified within 1 week of the auction's close.  Any unsold items that are not picked up with 14 days of that notification become the property of armacphotos, and may be disposed of at our discretion.

Can you help me buy stuff, too? - Absolutely!  while helping people sell their items is our main business, we are available to help you shop for items on eBay as well.  More information will be forthcoming on that aspect of our business in the future, however, in the meantime, feel free to send us an email telling us what you're looking for, and the price you're willing to spend, and let's talk about it!
