For this cake I used-

| To make the cake layers, start at the short end of one diaper, roll up jelly roll style. Keep rolling, adding more diapers. Use scotch tape every so often to hold it all together. When done rolling, tie curling ribbon around each layer to hold layers firmly together. Make two layers, one a bit larger than the other. Set the larger layer on the cake plate and glue or pin into place. Place the smaller layer on top and pin into place. Add sock roses by poking wire stems between diaper layers. Use wire to attach a mound of curling ribbon at the top and a small toy. | |
