How to make sock roses

Following are instructions for making baby sock roses for diaper cakes or to use in corsages for baby showers. They are easy to make, but I'm afraid I may not explain it clearly enough. If you have questions on this, please contact me.

For each rose you'll need-
1 baby sock, newborn size
6 inches florist wire
florist tape
2 artificial rose leaves

Lay the sock on a flat surface, with the toe end closest to you. Beginning at the toe, roll up towards the other side, stopping when you reach the heel.

Pull the cuff of the sock up and over the rolled sock.

Take the wire, and push throught the bottom of the rose, and twist ends together. This keeps the rose from unrolling. Cover bottom edge of rose and top of wire with floral tape. Add leaves at this time.

To make corsage, wire 2-3 roses together. Fasten with floral tape, and add a bow.
