The
Dental Centre moved from its location
on Yonge Street to modern new offices in the medical building at 123 Edward
St. right in front of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Toronto.
The Dental plan is one of the most important benefits provided by the
Health and Welfare Plan of the
Union. At an open house conducted
recently, Dr Strain, the manager of
the Dental Centre took members of Local 75 and hotel managers on a tour of
the new facilities, and showed how the new lay-out of the center makes for a
very efficient operation. To serve the members of Local 75, and their
families that live in the suburbs, three satellite offices provide service
on some days of the week (Mississauga, Rexdale, Toronto East). Dental
benefits are very important for any worker. HERE Local 75 has a dental plan
that is a model and
still getting better.
