This is to advise you that, by action of the
delegates at the 43rd General Convention of the Hotel
Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union and in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 2 of the International
Constitution, the dues of all members of all Canadian Local
Unions affiliated with this International Union will be
increased by 50¢.
This increase shall be allocated by the International Union to
a Canadian Strike and Defense Fund.
As a result of this increase, the monthly dues rate for
members of Local 75 will be:
· For non-gratuity employees: Two (2) hours per month at
the hourly rate, plus $3.80.
· For gratuity employees: Two (2) hours per month at the
hourly rate, plus $11.80.
· For former Local 442 and Local 280 members, current dues
will increase 50¢ per month.
We pledge that this increase will be used for the benefit of
our members.
