Local 75 delegates raise their voices in 1,000 member march!

HERE Local 75 was
featured in a video report on organizing and contract fights -
including clips of the Labour Day Parades, the Inn on the Park
action, and organizing Westmont hotel properties. |

Brother Paul Clifford reported on Local 75’s International Hotel
Workers’ Day and the support of many Toronto City Councilors. |

Brother
Clifford (District 10), along with Brothers Nick Worhaug
(District 11) and James Stamos (Canadian Director), were elected
to the International Union Executive Board. |

Brother
Stamos, former Trustee of Local 75 in the 1970's and 1990's, and
of Local 40 in the 1980's, was praised for his sacrifice and
contribution to HERE local unions during their times of past
difficulties, and, as Canadian Director, is on the I.U.
Executive Committee. |
In all, it was a jam-packed week, with much learned
and many lessons to take back for the benefit of Local 75. Please feel
