Summary: PWP, just a an excuse for seduction...
Author's Notes: I never intended to write a lot of this fandom, but I do, I hope that this is kind of a sweet story too but after not so bad I wanted something a little innocent and fluffy and my flatmates won't let me get a bunny...

Pacey watched as Jack rolled his shoulders and tried to work out the knot that had obviously lodged itself in his back, they ought never have started to paint the boat, but True Love was the only lady in either of their lives right now, although it was only Jack for whom this was by choice, but their lady needed a make over and they had decided to give her one. Pacey called her their lady because although it was his boat since Jack had borrowed it one time he had begun to spend a lot of his time there, Pacey liked to believe that it was because of his charm, wit, humour and vivacious personality but chances were that Jack felt sorry for him. Still, he'd prefer anything to the silence of being alone.

Jack stretched and wondered if Pacey knew about his shoulder injury, he had not wanted to miss helping Pacey with the painting, he loved to be here on the boat because he loved being with Pacey, he loved Pacey. It had been a slow realisation, something that had crept up on him over time without him really noticing it, somewhere between the fiasco with Ethan and his brief outing to Boston to visit a gay club he had found that there was a place much closer to home that he wanted to be, so he found himself on Pacey's boat, helping at the Video Store and even offering to clean the cruiser for Doug to spend time with the younger Witter. His back ached, his shoulder was sore from an injury he'd gotten on the field, but to spend this time with Pacey made all of it worth while. Jack felt the warm hand on his shoulder, pulling him out of his thoughts, Pacey was gently rubbing out the aches and pains and each tender touch was going straight to Jack's cock.

"You are stiff aren't you." Pacey said as he continued his massage.

Jack restrained the urge to tell his friend just how true that particular statement had been, but Pacey for once had no sexual overtones in his voice and would kick Jack's ass from here to high heaven if he knew that Jack lusted after him. After all there was acceptance and understanding there but there was no desire to hear of the details, something that Pacey had made perfectly clear the first time that Jack had come to him to rant about Ethan.

"Why don't you lie out on the deck and let me rub in some oil, I can't have Mitch thinking that as well as screwing up my own high school career I'm doing the same for his star player."

Jack paused for a moment, he could do this, if he refused then he would have to explain why he didn't want Pacey with his hands all over him, at least if he did it there would be no difficulty between them, and there was no way that a horny gay teenager was going to pass up the chance to have the object of his affection's hands on him. Jack lay out a towel and lay down on his stomach, careful to arrange himself so that he would not do any permanent damage to his already hard cock.

Pacey started at Jack's shoulders, rubbing them and kneading out the knots, it was strong his hands pushing in hard enough to work the knots out but each sweep of flesh on flesh felt like a sweet caress, a touch that Jack commited to memory. Pacey was sitting at the base of Jack's spine, but when he moved down to work on the lower back his slid further back resting on Jack's ass, to Jack the sensation of the hands on him and the feel of another man so close to him, so close to him in an intimate way fueled a thousand images that he had wanted to keep at bay. The low moan of frustration and arousal slipped past Jack's lips before he realised and he then stiffened up at the expected torrent of words and barrage of abuse that Pacey would hurl at him, he had crossed the boudary and now he had to be ready to pay the price.

"Pacey...I..." Jack began but stopped as he realised that there were no words that he could think of to reverse the damage that he had done.

The hands that had been kneading him moved down his sides gently, almost lovingly until Pacey got to Jack's hips, one hand slid gently inside Jack's boxers and Pacey lay almost on top of his friend and kissed his neck gently. The gentle stroking of his cock was exquisite torture to Jack, but as he felt the first waves of orgasm hit he felt the bewilderment over take him, as he lay sated the mess in his shorts the only reminder of the encounter Jack felt the pressure ease off his back as Pacey moved away. Jack took a few moments before he willed himself to turn over and look at his friend. Pacey had turned back to the job at hand and was ignoring the events of the past few minutes so Jack decided that he ought to do the same, Pacey had no doubt felt sorry for him and that was why he had given him a helping hand. For Jack it would have to be enough because despite his feelings for Pacey he was not about to risk his friendship on a hand job, no matter how amazing it had been.

The boat was finished and Jack had made his excuses to leave but Pacey had remained, watching the sun rise over the Creek and wondering what on earth had possessed him to act on the growing curiosity that he had about boys from being around Jack. It had never entered his mind to think about sex with men until the footballer had come out. Being around the very narrowminded and straight-laced Dawson had seen to that. Pacey assumed that things had changed when the three musketeers had been challenged by the outsider, the city girl with her city ways, the dynamic had changed irrevocably and they were never going to be the same again.

Pacey wondered how Joey would react if she knew that another of her cast offs was considering joining the home team, but then again since having his heart ripped out and publically being made to eat it Pacey did not think that he was ready for any relationship. The hand job was not the issue, after all that was one thing that buddies did, relieved the stress when both of them were single, hey even the army did that and they didn't let gays in. Pacey winced at the weakness of his argument, times were changing, there was no need to come up with a lame excuse and he knew that it had been more than a tension reliever. No, he had to face facts, he was attracted to his best friend, in fact the way things were his *only* friend. Pacey was not blind, he knew that Jack was interested, but he was not sure if it was a case of really liking Pacey or just the fact that he was a safe fixation. After all, Pacey was one of the most active heterosexuals in their peer group (taking into consideration Jen's apparent celibacy), with such a plethora of experience and technique why would he ever change sides?

Pacey felt the coolness of the evening as a bitter cold chill up his spine as he realised that if he was freaking out then he could not begin to contemplate the thoughts that Jack was feeling. Jackers may be homosexual but he was not the type that was stereotypically in tune with his emotions, chances were he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, which Pacey mused, given the family history where Jack was relied on to keep the rest of them together, was not a good thing.

Jack threw the baseball through the hoop on the back of his door and missed completely, he did not even bother to retrieve it this time. It had been two hours since he had left Pacey back on the boat, he had already pondered the irony that as he left the jetty he was turning his back on the one thing that had eluded him his entire life, True Love. In the time that he had been home Jack had gone from calm and happy in a warm, fuzzy post orgasmic way, to scared and worried in a paranoid way. Now he was back to wondering what it would be like to go through senior year with no one to talk to but the sugar coated couple and his sister. After all, due to the mammoth crush that she had on Pacey since their little tryst, Jen would never forgive him. And it was debatable which side Andie would take, family ties be damned. The loud knock on his door pulled him out of his thoughts and moodily Jack made his way to answer it, questioning who thought they had the right to interuppt his important angst filled sulk. Looking through the spyhole Jack did a double take as he saw Pacey on the other side, for a short moment Jack pondered pretending not to be in but then he noticed that the lights were on, with a sigh he opened the door and waited for the tirade of angry words and flying fists that he was expecting, as earlier on the boat, they never came.

"Hi Jackers, Can I come in?" Pacey asked in a nervous voice not one that Jack had seen in Pacey before.

"Sure." Jack said allowing his friend, his mind reminded, in and leasing them into the Kitchen, if his heart was to be broken or his blood spilt this was a much better setting Jack mused.

"So, you here to kill me?" Jack asked, the joke falling flat as Pacey remained serious and Jack stared down at his feet.

Pacey stayed quiet, being the son of a cop had taought him that there was no need to speak when a confession was about to be made. "I'm sorry, I mean I never meant for you to find out..." Jack began.

"You were just going to quietly lust after me in secret making me think that you were my friend?" Pacey asked accusingly, regretting the words as soon as they came out of his mouth.

"Pace...You were...are...my friend, I just..."Jack paused not knowing what to say, Pacey realised that this was as far as Jack could go alone, there were things that he didn't know and without all of the puzzle pieces he would not see the whole picture.

Jack noticed that Pacey was getting closer and steeled himself for the punches he knew to expect, he had decided that he would no fight back, he deserved this, but he could not stop the tears that had been threatening to fall all evening, what Jack was not expecting was the arms that wrapped around him and pulled him into a warm embrace.

"Shhh, It's going to be okay, we'll work it out." Pacey told him as he felt the sobs that wracked Jack's body and the tears that wet his shirt.

Pacey moved his hands in comforting strokes of reassurance along Jack's back but made only soothing noises, saving the rest of the words until Jack was calm enough to hear them. When the tears fianlly died down Jack tried to pull away embarassed that Pacey had seen him in this weak state but his freind would not let go, instead Pacey loosened the embrace and placed a soft chaste kiss on Jack's lips before releasing him. Pacey was as shocked as Jack by the move, but it had seemed the right thing to do.

"Now that you know that I am not going to beat up on you, there are some things that you might want to know." PAcey said with a smile, indicating that they move into the lounge and get more comfortable. Jack chose the sofa and Pacey sat next to him, close enough to show that he was not disgusted but far enough away that Jack would feel comfortable. "Well, I guess the first thing is that I think that I am bisexual."

Jack heard the words but was not sure of the meaning, after all if what Pacey was saying was true then...there might be a chance? Jack shook his head gently, there was no way that a guy like Pacey would fall for a guy like him.

"Yes, Jack." Pacey said obviously to Jack's self denial. "I never meant to get you caught up in this, I mean I know that you like me, but it doesn't mean that you want me, after all, I think that Nellie Olson is kinda hot but there is no way that I would risk losing my job over it."

Jack wondered if this was to make Pacey or Jack feel better, the way it felt it had not worked for either of them.

"Anyway, the way that I see it we have three choices: One, we forget that this afternoon happened, Two, we accept it and go on as friends, or Three..." Jack paused as he wondered what the thrid option was, not knowing if he would be able to live without Pacey in his life. "Three, we see where this is headed, maybe try something else." Pacey finished.

Jack's mouth fell open at the third option, not something that he had expected from his friend. "I...I..." Jack stuttered. Pacey was watching him, it was obvious that the ball was in his court, but did he want to throw it back or was he going to quit the game now, looking at the uncomfortable way things were between them Jack decided it couldn't get much worse. "Three?" he suggested quietly.

"I was hoping that you'd say that." Pacey said a smile spreading across his face, Jack could not help but lock away a little of his hesitation at the smile, it was infectious, then Pacey did something that made Jack's face light up further, he lent over and placed a kiss on Jack's nose before moving on to Jack's lips. The pair became animated with kissing, tasting each other and mapping the inside of the other's mouths with precision, eventually Jack pulled away, not sure if he would ever breathe again. As the breathe began to circulate and he felt a little of the blood returning to his head, he heard Pacey stand.

"So, sealed with a kiss?" Pacey asked nervously, Jack nodded with a smile before standing to meet Pacey and blocking his retreat.

"It's okay Pace." Jac said, wondering when they had turned the tables, but then remembering that he was the experienced Gay man of the two of them, a thought that scared him in itself.

"Sorry..." Pacey selfconciuosly. "I didn't think that I would freak out, after this afternoon..." He stopped as he remembered what had occurred on the boat and felt a wave of arousal spread through him, apparently taking a little of the nervousness with it. "So, What are we now?"

"Hmm..." Jack said dramatically. "I think this makes us the residents of Capeside, Gay population: 2" Jack smiled.

"You missed Deputy Doug." Pacey said with a joke then his faced turned into mock seriousness. "Hey, won't it be a riot to tell the old man?"

Jack smiled, knowing the problems that his friend had with his father. There was going to be a tough time ahead of them though and this was something that they would have to discuss.

"Jackers, You in there?"

"Huh?" Jack asked.

"I asked if you wanted another massage, I know that you hurt your arm yesterday."

"You *knew*?"

"Well, of course, I always come to watch you practice, Jen and I sit on the bleachers and discuss all of the gorgeous players." He said seriously. "Besides, if I am going to be there to rub you down after practice then I am going to need the practice." Jack felt his cock swell at the innuendo and punched his friend lightly before heading upstairs. Yes, they may have problems to face but they would do it later, for now there were more pressing matters to attend to, like the erection Pacey was pressing into his back.
