5th Grade Fundraising Efforts
(These figures are based on last year's earning)
The Hewitt community has been generous in supporting our 5th grade class.
We are the only RVC elementary school that pays 100% of the 5th grade trip
($16,500) and gives every 5th grader a scientific calculator (required by the
middle school) as a graduation gift ($1,550). Hewitt also pays for each 5th
grader's yearbook, their moving up ceremony, and their picnic as well. This is
all made possible by the school-wide wrapping paper sale ($12,000), the pie
sale ($740), the fair ($700), the sweat sale ($1,000) and various other 5th
grade fund raisers.
