WELCOME CLASS OF 2009

"A Special Welcome" is scheduled for Hewitt's newest students who will be joining us in September 2003. A get-together to assist both the kindergartners and their parents about the many facets of our wonderful school and the variety that is offered here.

WHEN: Friday, May 30, 2003   From 10:00 a.m. to 11:15a.m.

For our new students and parents here are some links that might be of interest for you.

1. The Hewitt Handbook.  Answers to almost every question you might have.

2. The Hewitt Guide. A listing of all the various activities, events, and fund raisers that both the student and parents might like to "get involved" in.

3. School Packs. The PTA & teachers have created a pre-packaged school pack with all the required items your child will need on the first day of school. This handy pack can be preordered and will be waiting for your child on the fist day of school in his/her classroom. This service is offered to all the grades.

4. The Photo Pages. Take a tour of some of the "highlights" from this year at Hewitt.

5. The Lunch Program. The PTA offered a lunch program with a variety of choices every month.

6. Hewitt T-Shirts. A free t-shirt is given to all new incoming students free of charge from the PTA

Help Need for Kindergarten Orientation.

Kind loving parents wanted to create a wonderful experience for the children who will start kindergarten in September 2003 and to provide the parents who accompany the children with information about Kindergarten at Hewitt. This year's Orientation is on May30th from 10:00 - 11:15am

Volunteers should be available at 9:am to set up.
