Hollow Tip - Takin No Shortz
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- The first track is one of my favorite Hollow tracks of all time. The beat is tight and
the background effects are tight. Hollow comes tight on the mic and spits some tight
flows. This is just some tight old school type of shit. A classic track here. I'm
feeling it.
- Another classic track. Not as good as the first track, but I'm still feeling it. Hollow
coming hard on the mic flowing about flossin around Sac. Just some tight old school
type shit. A sicc track overall.
- Ballin' A$$ Dame starts this one off with a tight ass verse. Hollow comes hard on this
one too. I'm not really feeling the hook that much, but it's still a classic track.
The production is coo and I'm feeling the flows. A tight track overall.
- The hook is tight on this one. Hollow flows about ridin on triple gold ones. The beat
is good and gets your head into the track as Hollow comes clean on the mic. He spits
some tight lyrics and everything fits together well. I'm feeling this track.
- This is really the only track that I'm not feeling all that much. J-Mack, Ballin'
A$$ Dame and Hollow come tight on the mic, but I'm not really feeling the production
or the hook. J-Mack comes really hard on this one. A good track overall, but I'm not
really feeling it too much.
- This is another one of my favorite tracks. Lil Devious Loc comes hard on this one and
Hollow spits some tight lyrics along with him. The beat is tight and gets your head
moving and the production is perfect. Just a tight ass track, classic shit.
- Probably the best track on the album. J-Mack starts it off with a hard verse. He flows
so fast it's hard to make out what he's saying sometimes. Hollow comes pretty hard on
this one too. Some hard ass old school shit on this one. One of Hollow Tip's best tracks
of all time. Classic shit.
- The title track has a slower pace to it. The production is pretty good and has some nice
background effects to it. I'm feeling this track to the fullest. Another classic track
on this classic album.
- This is a tribute track to his friend Warloc. He flows about the stress he goes through
when he thinks about him. A lot of heart on this one from Hollow. I'm feeling this track
to the fullest. A great tribute track.
- The outro is a clean track. Hollow comes hard to a good beat and production. The beat
gets your head into it. Just another classic track from this tight ass album. I'm
feeling it. A great track to end the album with.
Overall this is one of Hollow's best albums. He comes with that old school feel to some
tight production and beats. He has a good few features on this album. Just some classic
shit with an old school feel to it. Get this album!
