Luni Coleone & I-Rocc Present - How the West Was Won
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. X-Raided gets the album started right with this track. He spits some tight lyrics and Hollis laces up a good beat. The beat is clean and gets your head into the track. Raided comes with his hard nosed lyrics and has a flow that fits well with the beat. I'm feeling this track, one of my favorite on the album.

  2. The beat by Hollis is tight as fuck on this one. I'm feeling the little guitar work in the background. Luni comes hard on the mic and his flow is tight. I've always liked Luni more as Lunasicc, but this track is one that only Luni Coleone could pull off. I'm feeling, another one of my favs on the album.

  3. The production by Mac Dre is sweet. Skee 64, Mac Dre and Gangsta Dre all come tight on this one. They spit some clean lyrics and the beat gets your head moving. Sweet production, good lyrics, can't get any better than that. I'm feeling it.

  4. The productin by Pale Soul isn't all that great, but AP-9 spits some tight ass lyrics. He just comes hard as fuck and rips it up. Wish the production would have been a bit better because it takes away from the track, but otherwise it's a coo track.

  5. Anything Killa Tay is tight and this one is no exception. Killa Tay laces up the track with some knoccin production. He starts it off with a tight verse. Luni Coleone has some sicc ass lyrics of his own, but I think everyone else gets overshadowed by Killa Tay and Luni. Would have been best as a KT and Luni track.

  6. Ok I'm going to pass this track up everytime. The beat is soft and I'm not feeling either D-Mack or Mr. Immaculate. Just a filler track in my opinion.

  7. I like the piano in the background. Hatchet laces up this track with some nice production. A nice slower pace to this track. I'm feeling Messy Marv and Hatchet's verses more than Hollow, but all three come pretty tight. The beat is perfect for this track. I'm feeling this track overall.

  8. I've heard so many tracks produced by Hollis that sound almost exactly like this. The beat is tight, but all of the background effects are played out. Skee 64 starts it off with a poor verse. Hollis doesn't do much better and even Luni doesn't come all that tight. Just a poor track overall.

  9. You know I've never really said this before, but this track sucks! Not feeling a thing about it. Never been a fan of Hollis on the mic and this track is another reason not to listen to him. Skip it!

  10. This is a tight track although I've heard it on a few albums already. The beat by Hugh Heff is tight and all three come tight on the mic. Greedy comes with some hard ass lyrics to start it off. Luni adds his hard nosed lyrics and then Gangsta Dre spits his hard lyrics. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  11. Pale Soul makes up for his other poorly produced track with this track. T-Nutty rips up the mic to start the track off. I'm feeling his style and the lyrics he comes with. I don't really like the hook too much, but the other verses are clean. Another one of my favorite tracks, but mostly because of T-Nutty.

  12. Another poorly Hollis produced track. C-Bo, Luni and Marvaless do their best to make up for the production. C-Bo starts it off with a sweet verse. Luni comes next and spits some decent lyrics and Marvaless finishes off the track with some alright flows. Nice to see some A.W.O.L. cats back together on this track.

  13. Whoever put this track on the album I must thank you. It's a great break from all of the Hollis production and a bit of a different style to it. Ecay Uno comes hard on the mic and with his production. A nice laid back type feel to this track. It has a slower pace to it, but it works perfectly. I don't really like the hook, but that can be overlooked. A tight track overall.

  14. I feel sorry for San Quinn on this track. He's the only one that makes this track even worth a quick listen. The production by Hollis is poor the hook is weak, Luni and Young Fierce don't have good verses. San Quinn stands out on this poor track.

  15. Another break from Hollis production. Evil laces up some nice production to this one. Lynch starts it off with some good dark lyrics. COS comes next and spits more tight lyrics. Jat Catt's verse is weak, but I-Rocc finishes the track off nicely. I'm feeling this one except for verse 3.

  16. Nice production by Hugh Heff, but Devious ruines this track. The beat has a nice slow pace to it, but Devious flows at about 1000000 mph. Silas' verse fits in better, but again he seems to go too fast. A perfectly good produced track is put to waste.

  17. A knoccin beat from Hollis on this one. This track sure does make my speakers go BOOM! Luni's flow is perfect and this track is just hard as fuck. One of the only tracks on the album that really gets my head going. Another one of my favs for the tight production and nice flows by Luni.

  18. I think this track has Skee 64's best verse on the album. Daz always has nice lyrics and he comes tight on this one. Decent production by Hollis, but nothing reall special. It's a coo track overall, but nothing exceptional.

  19. This track is from Kaoz's upcoming solo album and if this is any indication of how his album is gonig to be then I'm going to make sure to swoop it up the second it drops. He comes hard on the mic and fits perfectly with the production. Young Droop comes tight as well. Both rip it up and makes this another one of my favorites.

Overall this album made me change my mind a few times. At first I thought it wasn't all that good at all. Then I gave it a second chance and it made me get into it more, but then I just got more and more dissapointed with it. It has some really good names on it, but there are reused tracks and a lot of weak production. I was really feeling about 6 or 7 tracks, but besides that I skipped a majority of the album. For a comp I would say it's decent at best.
