Night Shield Presents - The Nation Compilation
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- Intro. Nice little beat.
- A very good slow beat. Triple Crown has some heat. They have the potential to make it
big in the rap game. The background instrumentals are great on this track. One of my
favs. on the album.
- This track gets my head moving. Very good style of flow and appropriate lyrics. The
beat is medium paced, but has a good flow to it. The background affects are the only
let down, but the track is still great. Another one of my favs.
- Shayla Day has a very good voice. This track is more like an R&B song, but it still
good enough to be on a rap CD. The beat is slow and the instruments are good, but
Shayla makes the track with her clean cut voice.
- The background affects on this track stand out more than anything. The bass isn't very
good, but the beat is ok. The hook is very good. S.C.U.M. has some heat. A very good
track.
- I'm not really diggin' the hook, but I like Overflow's style. The beat has a nice pace
to it and the lyrics are pretty good. Overflow has some heat.
- The Jihad's rappers have nice slow voices that goes well with the slow beat. The hook
has a nice catchy phrase to it as well. The background instruments are coo too. A nice
slow track.
- I like the beat and the instruments in the background, but I'm not really into the
lyrics or the flow. Not one of my favorite tracks, but it still has some good points,
mostly the beat.
- The beat is ok, and Cinista Cin'Natra has a good voice for his style of flows, but I'm
just not feeling the lyrics. However, I do think that Cin'Natra does have a future in
the rap game. He has some heat.
- I love the lyrics to this track, but Im not into Lysergik's voice. He has a very deep
voice that doesn't go well with the track. Sik has a better voice, but he doesn't do
anything to help the track at all. His voice is just as bad as Lysergik's if you ask
me. Not a very good track.
- Night Shield flows too fast on this track, but there's no doubt about his flows. SICC!
Givin' love to all the natives Night Shield has some heat. Overflow comes sicc too
with his own style. Although he fits better than Night Shield.
- I love Silver Shadow D's voice. He fits the beat perfect. This track has some heat,
despite the fact the beat is slow.
- Another solo track from Overflow. He flows about some of the hardships in life. The
lyrics fit the beat well. Overflow has heat fo sho.
- Everything fits together perfectly on this track. The lyrics, the beat, the affects,
Redd Reign's voice, everything. Just a well put together track.
- Another Cinistra Cin'Natra solo. This one's better than the first. It has a better
beat and the flow is better.
- I'm not feelin' this track at all. Don't really like anything about it. The beat is ok
and the lyrics have a good flow, but I'm just not into it much.
- A flow in German? Well here it is and surprisingly it's pretty coo. The beat is good
and the flow fits the beat, the only drawback it that I can't understand a fucking
word. Interesting way to end the album.
Overall this album has some heat. It's a really good first album from Night Shield
Entertainment. Most of the rappers have potential and the production was good. A very
good first album. Overall 4/5.
