Tech N9ne - Absolute Power
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. Just a little intro. It has a little interview with Tech about Anghellic and Absolute Power.

  2. My favorite track on the album. The beat RUBONYX is tight as fuck and gets your head moving. Tech rips up the mic with his fast paced lyrics. Tech has perfect lyrics talking about how fucked up the rap industry is right now. He talks about never getting the props he deserves. A very tight track that knoccs hard. Bump it loud and keep it on replay.

  3. Another tight beat this time by Flash Technology and Carl Breeding. Tech rips up the mic again on this one. This is more of party type of track with Tech flowing about strip clubs and Kansas City. The hook is good with some nice background vocals. More good flows and another knoccin beat. A tight track overall.

  4. Another one of my favorite tracks. The hook is a little weird with the sample they used. Better you hear it for yourself and you'll understand. Tech has some more fast paced flows and various his speed perfectly. A hard knoccin beat from RUBONYX. Just knocc this one loud!

  5. The single from the album is tight as fuck! The beat by Femi Ojetunde is clean as fuck and knoccs hard. Tech comes with some of the funniest flows I've ever heard. He flows about being a slacker and always dreaming of making it big, but never doing anything to try and make it. The video for this track is hella funny too. Another one of my favorite tracks, although it falls just short of track two for best on the album. A tight track that everyone needs to hear.

  6. A little slower paced track here. Another good beat from RUBONYX. Tech flows about how he will keep rising in the rap game even though some don't want him succeed. His has a short diss to Vel Bakarii too. Big Krizz Kaliko is only on the hook and some singing at the end of the track. A good track overall, I like the change in pace from the previous tracks.

  7. A pretty good beat from Big Los. The Yung Gunz come with some tight verses. Tech takes a bit of a back stage on this track. He only has one verse at the end of the track. Not my favorite track on the album, I usually skip it.

  8. Back to another tight RUBONYX beat. Tech has some coo flows on this track. He talks about Bianca's and Beatrice's. He says it's nothing personal at the end of the track, I think it's more of a inside joke. A coo song overall though.

  9. Just a little interlude that leads into the next track. He talks about being at a strip club.

  10. Another slower paced track. A good beat from RonnZfromBerlin. Tech flows about getting with a girl at a strip club for a lap dance. Then he takes the stripper back to her place and she turns out to be a vampire. A tight track with some cool lyrics.

  11. Quick seven second interlude into the next track.

  12. A good hard, dark styled beat from RonnZfromBerlin. The effect on Tech's voice really helped to make the track that much more dark. He flows with some dark lyrics. He talks about being not so right in the head. A tight track overall, a little different then the other tracks on this album.

  13. Icy Roc Kravyn laces Tech up with a tight beat to flow to. This track has another effect on Tech's voice that slows it down and makes it deeper. The effect on his voice is supposed to simulate the drugs he talks about on this track. A tight track overall, I like the effect they used, it really adds a nice touch to this track.

  14. A tight ass beat from RonnZfromBerlin. Tech starts it off with a tight ass verse. The vocals on the hook are tight ass fuck! I'm not really a D12 fan, but I like all of their verses. My favorite part of the track is the hook though. A tight track that gets your head moving. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  15. Tech writes a diss song to his dick. It's a tight track. I think he's trying to show that thinking with the wrong head can lead to trouble. A clean beat from RUBONYX that gets your head moving. A very original idea. No hook on this track, but it doesn't need it. A little short, but a good track overall, I'm feeling it.

  16. Another short interlude.

  17. It starts off with a dark sound to it like the tracks on Anghellic, then the beat kicks in and Tech rips it up. Another tight ass beat from RonnZfromBerlin. Tech just flows with some tight ass lyrics. The title track is another one of my favorites. A tight jam all around. Bump it loud!

  18. This is the diss song to Don Juan. 5150 Mental Production lays down a nice beat, but this track is more for the flows than the beat. He talks a gang of shit about Don Juan on this one. It's better if you hear it then to have someone tell you about it, but he rips Don Juan a new one.

  19. The 57th St. Rogue Dogg Villians are on this track. A decent beat from 5150 Mental Productions. I like the hook a lot and the verses are pretty good. A pretty good track, but on an album of this caliber it's just average.

  20. A perfect track to finish the album with. The beat from Robert Rebeck is perfect and knoccs hard. My favorite part is the hook. Tech rips it up on the mic and the beat gets your head moving. More of party style track and it works perfectly. A tight track to finish this tight album off with.

Overall this is definately one of the best releases of 2002. Not quite as good as Anghellic, but I think it's hard to compare the two together because they have different styles to them. This is more of a party style while Anghellic has more of a dark feel to it. In any case it's still a tight ass album. Together with the DVD you need to pick up this album. Run out right now and get it. GET IT!!!!
