Tech N9ne - Anghellic
Reviewed By: Blutarski
- A short intro to the track, has a dark feel to it.
- This track gets the album started off right with a good beat and some tight lyrics by
Tech N9ne. He has a very unique style and incorporates many different things into his
flows. This track is no different as he rips up the mic. Grant Rice has a decen verse
too. A great track to start the album off with.
- This track has gunfire as the verse and Tech flows along perfectly to it. It's only 14
seconds long, but it's sicc!
- I'm not really liking the background affects to this track, but the beat is good and
the piano in the background is coo. Tech has some coo flows on this track, but it's
not one of my favorite on the album. Love the lyrics though.
- A series of messages on the answering machine that leads into the next track called
"Phycho Bitch."
- Tech flows about those girls that you have to watch out for. The beat is very fast
paced and Tech has some sicc lyrics. I like the topic to this track and am feeling the
lyrics to the fullest. A sicc track, one of my favorites on the album.
- This track deals with abortion. Tech flows about three different cases of abortion and
the guilty feeling associated with it. Tech spits some sicc lyrics to a nice beat.
Another one of my favorite tracks. A very good topic to flow about.
- Tech flows about each year of his life in a very unique track. The production is very
good and Tech flows very good to the beat. A slower track, but still gets my head
moving. A good track overall.
- Tech flows about suicide letters. Another great topic to flow about. Tech has a lot of
flows about relevent topics to many people in the world. The beat is alright, but the
lyrics have a lot of heart and deliver a strong message.
- A short interlude where a definition of purgatory is explained.
- A sicc track!! The beat is off the hook and Tech spits the flows with the quickness.
Another track that gets your head moving to the beat. I'm feeling this track to the
fullest. I like the hook the best, but this track is plain sicc!
- My favorite track on the whole album. The beat is crazy!! Tech has some sicc flows and
this track just gets your head moving. A strait knoccin track with some sicc lyrics.
Can't say enough about this track, just that it's sicc as fuck!
- Tech flows to the "Dragnet" beat. This is another one of my favorite tracks. This album
is so good a lot of the tracks are one of my favorites. Everything on this track has
heat to it. A very good hook too. A sicc track overall.
- Another good beat for this track. Tech flows so fast it's hard to keep up with he's
saying sometimes. A sicc track for his delivery and lyrics. The beat gets your head
moving too. Another sicc track on this sicc album.
- A slower track, but the beat gets your head moving. Tech has a good flow on this
track, spitting the same sicc lyrics that makes this album tight as fuck! This is just
another example of that as this track is tight overall.
- Another interlude. Grant Rice calls Tech and tells him to get his ass up and get to the
airport.
- Another slow track. Tech flows about keeping a family together while being famous.
Another topic that has heart to it for Tech. I like this track for Tech's lyrics, but
I'm not really feeling the beat too much.
- I don't really like the beat to this track, but more of those great lyrics from Tech
more than make up for it. A sicc track for the lyrics.
- The title track has some heat to it. Grant Rice, Amjad Bakarii and Short Nitty
compliment Tech's style very nicely. This isn't one of my favorite tracks, but I do
like the flows on it. Nice to hear some guests too.
- Tech flows about going bad. The beat is pretty good and Tech spits more of those great
flows. I like the background affects to this track. This track is sicc overall for the
affects and Tech's lyrics.
- Another interlude. He talks about Roger Troutman (RIP) on the next track.
- Another one of my favorite tracks. I could listen to this one over and overa again
cause it's so sicc!! Everything fits together so well. Nothing on this track has a low
point to it. Just a sicc track.
Overall this album is the best of 2001 no doubt. Tech has some of the best lyrics I've
ever heard and with album turned me towards his music and now is my favorite artist.
Hardly a low point on this album. Pick this one up with an oven mitt cause it's got
too much heat to handle!!
