Yukmouth - Thug Lord: The New Testament
Reviewed By: Blutarski

  1. This is the intro. It has a nice piano in the background.

  2. The title track is hard. The beat is tight and I'm feeling the background effects. Yukmouth comes hard and I'm feeling the lyrics he spits. This is a tight ass track. Everything fits together well on this track. I'm feeling it.

  3. Oh boy! This track is pretty good. The beat is alright and I like the background instruments. Yukmouth comes with a clean flow on this one. I think this track would have been perfect for Knumskull, be he doesn't appear once on this album. It's a nice track overall, nothing too special, but clean.

  4. He's Yukmout, He's Thugged Out. This track has an addictive feel to it. The beat gets your head moving and I like the hook and how things go with each other. Yukmouth comes with a tight flow and I like the production. It's a clean track overall. I'm feeling it to the fullest.

  5. This is a track about all the high maintenance girls. One of those girls who seem to want everything or have you usher her from place to place. Yukmouth comes with some tight lyrics on this one. It's a good topic to flow about. Lil' Mo has some nice vocals for the woman's side. I'm feeling it.

  6. The weed song. Yukmouth comes with those tight lyrics. The beat is clean and I'm feeling the production. Ain't nothing but a classic smoke track. Not his best smoke track, but it ranks right up there.

  7. I'm not feeling this track too much. The background effects are alright, but I don't like the beat too much. The Outlawz are alright, but I've never been a bit fan of them. Yukmouth have a decent track, but I'm not feeling this track. Decent overall.

  8. I like the piano on this one, but other than that I'm not feeling much. The beat is decent, but doesn't come off too hard to me. The hook isn't that great either. This is just a dissapointing track overall.

  9. I'm feeling this track. Yukmouth comes hard on the mic on this one. The beat is sweet and I like the hook. Phats Bossalini comes clean on the mic. C-Bo and Yukmouth always come tight together and this track is no exception. This is a clean track overall. I'm feeling it.

  10. The production is clean on this track. Yukmout spits some tight lyrics about how he is getting hated on for no reason. He comes back at the haters with sicc lyrics. The beat is good and I like the background instruments. It's a tight track overall.

  11. My second favorite track on the album. Nate Dogg always come with those sweet vocals on a hook, Kurupt came tight on this one and Kokane spit some clean lyrics. Yukmouth holds his own too. The production is good and the beat gets your head into the track. The track has a medium pace to it, but I'm feeling it. It's a tight track overall.

  12. Yukmouth comes hard on the mic on this one. The beat and production isn't all that, but I'm feeling Yuk's flow on this one. He spits some heat on this track. The hook is alright, the only part I'm really not feeling is the whole ooh ooh going on the whole way through the track. It's a clean track though, I'm feeling it.

  13. My favorite track on the album. The beat is tight as fuck! Everyone comes hard on the mic and Yukmouth disses the shit out of Master P in the last verse. The production on this track is hard though. This is one of those tracks you have to bump loud. It's the best track on the album. Fuck this is tight, bump this shit loud. Can't say anything more.

  14. Like I said C-Bo and Yukmouth always come tight together. I'm feeling this track just as much as any other Bo and Yuk track. The beat is tight and I like the background effects. Both rip up the mic on this one. CJ Mac has a decent verse, but this would have been best as a Bo and Yuk duo. Still a tight ass track.

  15. It is basically the same beat from track 1 except this track is about 5 minutes long. Yukmouth has some decent flows, but I'm not really feeling the beat or the production. It would have been best to end the album at track 14.

Overall this is a decent album from Yukmouth. I liked his "Thugged Out" album a whole lot better. I was dissapointed that Knumskull didn't appear on the album once at all. He has some good people featured, but I wasn't feeling a majority of the tracks. The ones I did feel are tight as fuck though. Pick it up if you are a Yuk fan, otherwise get his other album.
