1964 Pontiac Tempest GTO

A long time ago, pontiac plucked three ordinary letters from the alphabet and made them immortal. The GTO name has been indelibly etched in the hearts of enthusiasts by that vehicle's role as instigator of the muscle-car era.

The original GTO package consisted of a 325-horsepower V-8 with dual exhaus and a four-barrel carburator, plus a three-speed manual transmission, hurst shifter, heavy-duty clutch, stiffer suspension calibrations, 14x7.5 redline tires on 6.0-inch rims, and appropriate interior and exterior identification on an ordinary LeMans.
