I remember it as if it were only 12 years ago... Wait... It was... Anyway... I remember myself jumping up and down on my brother's bed as he was playing "Detroit Rock City" off of Alive II... Trying (and failing miserably) to sing along with Paul Stanley... I was about 3 years old. That's one of my earliest memories of my KISS fandom. Then there's a huge gap... Skip to my first show... Talk about a fond memory... All my concerts were fond memories... And you can read about those in the Concert section. One of my favorite KISS moments isn't really a KISS moment at all. It's because of KISS, though, that it happened. Without them, I never would've met Karen, and I'd be a depressing little shit at the current time.
They've done so much for me. They've helped me through the tough times in my short (in comparison to others) life. When I thought I was the lowest of all scum, their music helped me. It brought me back up. I owe my resect to Gene, Paul, Ace, Peter, the late Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick and Eric Singer... For all the good things they've contributed to my life. For my happiness... It really hurts to see 'em go. But they'll always be remembered. Always.
