FAQ Q: Can I set up the satellite dish myself? A: Yes, almost certainly you can, if you just have moderate handyman skills. Then, you will not at all find it hard to do. When you buy the dish, be sure to get all the needed mounting pieces that you will need, so you have everything required for the job. Then, with a compass at hand, and with direct and free sight to the satellite, you are ready for the task, and it is a not difficult. Q: Is there anything else that I need to know regarding the installation? A: It may take some time to find the satellite, and it may require time and patience to install. Adjustment to the satellite must be done very precisely. Otherwise, you will not get a good signal. If you can view a connected TV via a satellite receiver while doing this work, it will be easier to do the installation. Otherwise, you will need an assistant to watch the TV with the satellite receiver and to communicate with you by shouting or by mobile phone while you make adjustments to the dish. This is the most difficult portion of the job and requires patience. Plan to spend several hours for this task. The professionals have advanced measurement tools and can do the job in no time. As an amateur, I recommend you to buy a "sat-finder."  It costs about 100 kr (13 Euro). It will help you considerably.
