FAQ Q: Can there be any obstructions between the dish and the satellite? A: No. You must remove all obstructions. This includes tree branches and anything else. Q: Is the elevation (angle measured upward horizontally to the satellite) just as critical as the azimuth (compass direction to satellite) regarding quality of the signal? A: Yes, and I recommend that you set aside several hours for this task of adjusting the dish. However, it has to be done only one time. With patience, you can do it successfully if you take your time. It is easier to position the dish if you have only a single head (one LNB), but if you bought a dish with the standard two heads that are 6 degrees apart, it should fit without further work. |
