Stare,
I can do nothing but stare.

Soft lines lead me on a journey of natural beauty,
through calm, delicate, perfect features.

My face bright with a smile of content,
and my insides awash with joy.

Our connection seems unearthly,
as if divine spirits have blessed our lives.

I stare when you are distracted with life,
and all the love you've given me, comes to me again.

This is a picture of my wife, Avis, and her son, Joshua taken in 2001.

Avis and I first met playing an online game called EverQuest. We met in person about eighteen months later and then started dating about six months after that. At the time, we lived four hours apart and saw each other only on weekends.

We married on July 16, 2005 at our new home. We then spent a week in Paris for our honeymoon.
