Hello, friends and family! If you're hitting this site in August, 2005, you know the Hovenga Family Zoo is about to take a very exciting trip to Thailand (sans animales, of course). We hit the road tomorrow for a 20+ -hour plane ride (through London (Heathrow) into Bangkok). If you'd like to keep up with the our exploits throughout the twenty-day adventure, visit my web blog. We'll be checking email and updating the blog as much as we're able and at least once a week.

If you're new to the Zoo or haven't talked with Halie, Mitch, or Eden in a while, send us an email just to say hello, or sign our guest book. We'd love to hear from you.

The Hovenga Family Zoo web site has been in existence for nearly eight years, now, going through several phases as our family changed over the years. The site has seen dogs, cats, birds, snakes, four different houses, five countries, and three continents.
